Samsung have just presented several new laptops and desktop PCs that come with Intel’s AMT support. They are the P60, BP55, and BZ55 model. Stay tune for the detail of those AMT-Ready PCs. The AMT itself, stands for Active Management Technology, is a technology that lets admin to manage their computers better and offers a better remote control of the PC’s.

Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) stores hardware & software information in non-volatile memory. With built-in manageability, Intel AMT allows IT to discover the assets, even while PCs are powered off. With Intel® AMT, remote consoles do not rely on local software agents, helping to avoid accidental data loss.
