Remember the heated USB Slippers a while back ago? Well, Thanko, an innovative Japanese company, has made a new version of that cool footwear and comes up with this USB.. errr… house shoes. The slippers is no longer conjoined like before, and you’ll get two slippers instead. So maybe you can walk around the computer by still wearing this heated shoes. But maybe not, since your movement will be limited by the USB cable. If only it is battery-powered like the Australian Footwarmers…

Audex Bluetooth Snowboard Hat From Motorola and Burton

The Audex Padded Hat is another new product coming from Burton and Motorola colaboration. Incorporated Motorola’s Bluetooth technology, this snowboarding hat is equipped with a Bluetooth speakers (or you can just say it a Bluetooth headphones). You can receive calls and listen to music while moving your way on the snow. Nothing can stop you now. Except the snow bear.

Furthermore, the speakers module are detachable, so you can use it as a normal headset once you’ve finished your snow ride. The Burton/R.E.D Audex Padded Hat is available in the first quarter of next year in either white or black colors.

Motorola and Burton Launch Bluetooth Audex Jacket Series

Hmmm, another news about Motorola for today. If you’re a Motorola-hater, unfortunately, I still have another Motorola-related post coming up after this. But you may like this one since it’s not about cell phone. Instead, this is about Motorola and Burton Snowboards new Bluetooth-enabled Audex Jacket series, designed specially for the winter sports season.

The Audex jacket is integrated with Motorola’s Bluetooth Wireless technology to provide a control center for handsfree communication and entertainment while skiing or doing other winter activities (except sleeping… you’re not a bear, aren’t you). The control panel itself is located on the left-hand sleeve of the jacket for simple and easy access to your incoming and outgoing calls, and music selections. On the hood you can find the speakers and microphone. all of them can be accessed via a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone or iPod (through hidden wires within the jacket).

The Bluetooth-enabled Audex Jacket Series is now available for around $599.95.

Next year, Motorola and Burton will release another co-op product, the Audex Protective Gear. It will include Audex Helmet and Audex Padded Hat, both equipped with Bluetooth stereo headphones.

The USB Warm Slipper is the perfect companion for the USB Heating Gloves, especially during the winter. Upon plugging, it will send the heat from the USB port right through the slipper, thus keeping your feet comfortable and warm. It is available at Thanko for 3,980 Yen and compatible with both Windows and Mac.

Alternatively, you can try the Austrian FootWarmer. It has its own battery, so no USB and computer required.
