Do you want a UMPC? Well, I do. I already own Eee PC from Asus, but having smaller, more compact computing device with internet browsing capability would be nice. For example, this brand new Willcom D4 from Sharp. Displayed at Computex 2008 event in Taipei, the slide-n-tilt UMPC is powered by Intel Atom processor and Windows Vista Home Premium (incl. SP1) operating system, which is a nice combination. Thanks to its built-in 1Seg TV tuner, D4 is able to entertain its users on-the-go by playing their favourite TV programme. Moreover, users can also record their favourite moment through the UMPC’s 1.98 megapixel webcam module.

Measures 192.3 x 84 x 25.9mm and weighs 470 grams, Sharp Willcom D4 UMPC also features a 5-inch touchscreen WSVGA display, a 1GB of main memory, a 40GB of hard drive, and a microSD card slot. Regarding connectivity, it supports WiFI and Bluetooth.

Willcom WX321J is not just your ordinary cell phone. This handset comes with a pack of feature, making it suitable for any kind of users. For example, businessmen would love the phone’s ability to handle RSS feeds, access POP/SMTP email, and synchronize with their Outlook contacts through Intellisync. It can also view Office documents (Word, Excel) and PDF files, so workaholic office workers can stil finish their job even when they’re not at the office. Furthermore, there’s a built-in fingerprint reader, promising an enhanced security protection.

Other features include a W-OAM at 204kbps, NetFront 3.4, microSD memory expansion, QVGA display, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. No words on pricing and availability of this Japan-only XS321J cell phone at the moment.

Along with a little large 2-inch display, this candybar Japanese handset comes with just the basic communication and messaging functionalities, including email and internet. It also has a big buttons and easy-to-use user interface, thus making it convenient even for elder.

Sharp has upgraded its popular W-Zero3 PDA Phone with an extra memory. So instead of 128MB, the new WS004SH model will have 256MB of flash memory instead. Other features are quite similar though – a 3.7-inch (6480×480) 65K colors Mobile ASV LCD screen, an Intel PXA270 416MHz processor, 197MB of SDRAM, 1.3 megapixel camera, MiniSD card slot, WiFI support, USB port, and W-SIM slot.

Measures 70 x 130 x 26mm and weighs 220g, WS004SH PDA phone is also equipped with document viewer and editing, Instant Messaging, Opera Mobile 8.6, and Security Feature Pack (MSFP). It operates under Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. No words about price and avaibility yet.
