Phillar, a Netherland-based company, has just announced its new navigation system, PVST-SPN350 Phillar Vision Navigator. Powered by Centraility Atlas II (276MHz) processor, the GPS device features a 3.5-inch 262K colors LCD display with 320×240 resolution and touch screen user interface, a 32MB of ROM, a 64MB of SDRAM with SD/MMC card slot for additional storage, built-in speakers, and audio jack. Depend on the distributor, it will be loaded with either Map & Guide or Alturion maps data.

Measures 118 x 804 x 28mm and weighs 250g, PVST-SPN350 GPS navigation runs on Microsoft WinCE.NET 4.2 operating system. There’s a port for TMC connectivity so it can receive real-time traffic information. Sadly, unlike most similar devices on the market, Phillar Vision Navigator can’t handle multimedia files. However, for an extra budget, users can purchase and install additional multimedia player application.

PVST-SPN350 Phillar Vision Navigator is retailed for 200 EUR and will include several accessories on the bundle, such as car mounting kit, SD card reader, AC/DC adapter, and the stylus.

This portable media player offers a large 3.7-inch LCD screen, 30GB HDD, FM radio tuner, and voice recording capability. Available in three flavours (black, white, and green), this gadget supports various media format (MPEG-1/2/4, WMV9, MotionJPEG, XVid and DivX 4/5. MP3, WMA and WAV), including JPEG picture files as well. Amazon currently sells it for $329.99.

We’ve covered this Creative’s Zen Vision:M up before, and a review has also available from EverythingUSB. But just incase you want a different point of view of this PMP, why don’t you check out the review from PCMag too?

Excerpt from the review:

Portable media players (PMPs) are still coming of age, and it isn’t yet clear where the sweet spot is in terms of size and video quality. But Creative is definitely covering its bases, between its Zen Vision—a full-fledged PMP with a gorgeous 3.7-inch screen—and now the new Zen Vision:M ($329 direct), an iPod-size (yeah, we said it, so what?) 30GB player that plays music, photos, and video. Is this the iPod-killer the world has (or hasn’t) been waiting for? Not quite. Apple still wins out hands-down for hardware/software integration. Still, in terms of just the hardware, the Zen Vision:M comes closer to taking a bite out of Apple than anything else out there. Creative is making some inroads on the software side as well, with its new ZenCast.com site and ZenCast Organizer, which make a wealth of podcasts (audio and video) available to Zen Vision and Zen Vision:M users.
