To provide more entertainment to mobile person, Asus has a great product called Express TV Stick Hybrid. This USB device delivers both DVBT (Digital Video Broadcast – Terrestrial) and analog TV channels right to your PC or laptop in a single stick. It also comes with a 4GB of storage, which contains the software and driver you need to install this TV tuner to your computer. You could also take a snap shot or record your favourite TV programme right on the device. Nice peripheral for mobile multimedia entertainment!

FYI, the latest model is Asus Express TV Stick Hybrid US2-400 which provides both TV and FM radio tuner to your Windows-platform computer. Supported Windows version including Windows Vista Home Premium, Vista Home Basic, Vista Ultimate, and XP.

Disney and Runat have just updated their popular Stitch LCD TV which looks quite awesome. Comes with 20-inch display, the TV features a nice 1680 x 1050 resolution, HDMI input port, D4, and B-CAS card reader. The price? ‘Only’ 100,000 Yen (about $1,014 USD)… Wow! I guess only those lucky rich people who would buy this product for their lucky kids…

Toshiba updated their portfolio with the new series of REGZA Series LCD TV, REGZA C8000. All sports 120Hz panel technology and reduced power consumption. Currently, there are three different models are available — the 42-inch 42C8000 (127kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), the 37-inch 37C8000 (119kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), and the 32-inch 32C8000 (95kW/year power consumption, a resolution of 1366 x 768). The first two TVs have a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 13000:1; while the last one has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30000:1. No words on pricing at the moment.

LG Korea has just announced two new LCD TVs under their XCanvas LH70 Series portfolio. The first one has 47-inch (40.9mm thick) display while the other one has smaller 42-inch (39.7mm thick) screen. Both TVs boast a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a 120Hz panel, a response time of 2ms, and Bluetooth support which allows users to connect their Bluetooth device to the TV for direct straming of movies and photos. Moreover, LH70 also features LG’s Color Decanting and EYEQ Green function, along with a USB port for plugging in an external storage device. Pretty cool.

Samsung Series 8 is another new full HD LCD TV from Samsung. At just 44.mm thick, the TV offers a USB 2.0 port, four HDMI inputs, Full HD Motion Plus Technology, DLNA, WiseLink Pro, and content library. Like its sibling, Series 8 also blessed with an interesting feature call InfoLive, which allows users to read real-time information (news, weather, sports, etc) right on their TV screen. No words on pricing and availability unfortunately.

Samsung’s booth was one of the biggest at Berlin’s IFA 2008. No wonder they can showcase a lot of new products during that event. One of them is this new Series 7 Full HD LCD / Plasma TV. It boasts a nice live feed function, called InfoLive, which provides real-time information (news, weather, sports, finance, etc) right on the screen. InfoLive itself was borned thanks to the partnership between Samsung and Yahoo (which responsible for the RSS feeds). Other features include a WiseLink Pro, certified DLNA, and a resolution of 1920×1080p.

The PDP (plasma) version is available in three different sizes: 50-inch, 58-inch, and 63-inch; and sports a Real 100Hz Technology, Ultra Bright Filter 2 technology, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. As for the LCD TV version, it comes in three sizes (40-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch) and boasts the new Ultra Clear Panel and Wide Color Enhancer 2 Technology.

The new member of Toshiba Regza series LCD TV, RV Series, comes in three different sizes: 37-inch, 42-inch, and 46-inch. All of them features a resolution of 1080p (HD), a 100Hz panel with Active Vision M100HD technology, NICAM Stereo and SRS WOW technology, a built-in digital TV tuner, HDMI port, a contrast ratio range of 18,000:1 ~ 30,000:1 (Dynamic Contrast Ratio), and a 10-bit colour processing.

The company is going to release Toshiba Regza RV LCD TV in October. No words on pricing at the moment.

Korean company KAON recently introduced their new M35 Mobile TV, featuring support for DVB-T/H, ISDB-T, and T-DMB digital TV standards. Runs on Windows CE 5.0 operating system, the portable player offers a 3.5-inch LCD display (320×240), a built-in WiFI connectivity, an integrated FM radio tuner (optional), an SD media card slot, and either a 4GB or 8GB NAND flash memory. Supposedly it’d play multimedia files as well.

Nurian Avatar F1 PMP does looks like a great companion for your travel or holiday. It has a nice specs, nice capabilities, nice design, and nice user interface. Powered by Windows CE 5.0 operating system, the device can play both your video (MPEG1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, WMV) and audio (OGG, MP3) files. It allows you to watch Aang the Avatar from your favourite TV station, thanks to its built-in DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver. If the 4.3-inch screen is too small for you, you can also connect Avatar F1 to your widescreen LCD TV for better viewing.

Other features include a 30GB of hard drive, a built-in microphone, voice recorder, USB interface, and electronic dictionary function.

Ready for the summer, the waterproof DVD ZABADY (product number: VD-J713CW) from Twinbird is an all-in-one portable DVD and TV combo player. It comes with a 1Seg TV tuner, a 7-inch (480×234) display, and an IPX7 standard waterproof specification which allows users to bring the device down to 1 meter max for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Other feature include an SD media card slot (up to 2GB), a built-in MP3/MPEG-4 player, and JPEG photo viewer.
