To provide more entertainment to mobile person, Asus has a great product called Express TV Stick Hybrid. This USB device delivers both DVBT (Digital Video Broadcast – Terrestrial) and analog TV channels right to your PC or laptop in a single stick. It also comes with a 4GB of storage, which contains the software and driver you need to install this TV tuner to your computer. You could also take a snap shot or record your favourite TV programme right on the device. Nice peripheral for mobile multimedia entertainment!

Korea manufacturer SkyDigital recently unveiled SkyTV HD6 USB Mini, an external USB-based HDTV receiver that allows you to watch your favourite TV programme on the go in high-quality picture. Of course, your PC or laptop display must supports HD resolution to take advantage of this tuner. It comes with several external inputs and component input, so you can plug in your PS3 or XBox 360 as well. If intersted, you can purchase it for 69,000 Won (about $65).

At just 8mm thick, Kodak Elite Vision KTEL-30W Portable TV Tuner features a 3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 240 and a lithium battery that provides up to 3.5 hours of your favourite programme. It incorporates 1Seg TV tuner and comes in a stylish pink body.

Kodak Elite Vision KTEL-30W will hit the shelves in July with a price tag of €175 (about $275).

Inkel, a Korea-based manufacturer, proudly presented “MU-D”, a multimedia and learning combo device. Being a dictionary, it offers a Korea – English language, while as an entertainment device, it boasts a built-in media player, and an integrated DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver. Other features include Microsoft WinCE 5.0 operating system, a 4.3-inch display with 480×272 resolution, a 4GB onboard storage, and a SDHC media card slot (up to 12GB supported).

No words on pricing at the moment, but MU-D Multimeda Dictionary would surely be available in Korea though.

Cowon Japan presented “D2TV”, a portable media player with built-in 1Seg receiver, in Japan market. It features a 2.5-inch touchscreen display with 320×240 resolution, along with the ability to watch mobile TV programme (thanks to the receiver) and of course, playback audio and video files. You’d get up to 7.5 hours of TV, 9 hours of video, and 45 hours of music playback on one full battery charge.

Cowon D2TV PMP is available in two versions. One with white color and 2GB onboard storage (D2-2G), and other with black color and 8GB memory. Price is set at 201,000 (KRW) and 288,000 (KRW) respectively.

Nintendo has just unleashed a cool installment for NDS, a TV tuner. Recently released in Japan yesterday, this NDS TV tuner gives you all your favourite TV stations on the go, as well as a classic Game & Watch Fire game. You can play this game on the bottom screen while waiting for the TV commercials on the top screen to finish. Nice! It’d be much better if it packed more variety of Game & Watch titles though, as I’d love to play all of them.

NDS owners, here’s a must have installment for your lovely DS, the 1Seg TV Tuner. Officially released by Nintendo, this little device allows you to watch satellite broadcast TV programme anytime anywhere (as long as you’re in Japan though) right on your Nintendo DS (on the upper screen to be exact). You can control the TV using the lower screen of the DS. If only I live in Japan, I’d definitely purchase this tuner for €41 each.

Runat, a Japan-based manufacturer which is famous for its Disney-labeled products, finally created a companion for its Cars TV. Yes, please welcome the brand “Cars CD Player”. This car-shaped device features Lightning McQueen, the hero of Disney’s Cars. Its rear wheels act as a speaker (2×1W) and its roof perfectly hides the CD tray. It comes with build-in FM radio tuner as well, providing non-stop entertainment for the kids.

Seriously, I want this kind of product, a USB FM radio tuner. Eventhough I’m not sure bout its price, I believe it’d be much cheaper than having to buy an FM radio module for my iPod Video which costs me around $50 – $60. So let’s see, this tuner from Thanko can receive both AM and FM radio stations, and even lets you record the tune directly into either WAV or WMA audio formats. Other features include a big external antenna and Windows compatibility (2000/XP/Vista).
