Check out Blaupunkt’s latest creation, the “TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 Edition”. This GPS navigation device comes with a unique unusual ellipse shape, making it looks more stylish. On the inside, the device is powered by a 400Mhz Centrality Atlas III Dual Core processor and an integrated TMC receiver that provides real-time traffic information. The GPS is loaded with UK/Ireland maps, along with major roads of Europe. You can view the maps on its anti-glare, high-contast 3.5-inch touchscreen display. Additionally, there are over 21 Western European countries maps included on bundled DVD.

Other features include a SD/SDHC/MMC media card reader, PIN security system for theft protection, visual speed limit display and warning, and error-tolerant input of city names.

If you visit Blaupunkt’s booth at CES 2007, you might find its latest sat nav, TravelPilot Lucca 5.2. Pre-loaded with maps of entire U.S and Canada, the device offers smooth animated graphics in both 2D and 3D view mode, ability to plan multiple destination trips, and speed limit warnings. Later this year, users can also update the location of the speed camera from the internet.

Like many other GPS nowadays, Lucca 5.2 is equipped with some multimedia capabilities, including video and MP3 player, image viewer, and rear-view camera support. The cool thing, it can be connected to your car stereo through the provided car craddle.
