Beatiful Flowers Urinal

No, this is NOT another ~~strange~~ cool ice-cream like the Toilet Bowl Ice Cream in Taiwan. This is a REAL urinal for men, just like the Toilet Buddies or the Aquarium Toilet. Hand-made out of ceramic, the beatiful flowers urinal is created by Clark Sorensen and currently being displayed at the Kyung Hyang Housing Fair 2006 in Korea. According to the CEO of the company, Clark Sorensen himself, each urinal is unique and will be made only one each.

“Since each item is the only one in the world, I think it is worth possessing. I want people to look at it as an artistic work, not just a product” said Clark Sorensen.

Yes, they are nice and beatiful. But I guess we, as a men, would prefer this kind of toilet instead, or at least this romantic double toilet.

Have Fun With Toilet Paper

Some of you might “enjoy” spending time in the toilet. Me for example. I usually bring (comic) book and read while I.. errr.. you know. The Japanese people have found another way to entertain themself while they’re on the toilet. This toilet paper, named “Machigai Sagashi” (machigai=mistake, error; sagashi, from the verb sagasu=look for). Each piece of paper contains two pictures, and we can play the “search for mistake” or “find the different” game!

The price is 380 Yen at Rakuten Store (link below). And according to them, this toilet paper is a party equipment!

This toilet from Toto, a Japanese manufacturer, is quite something. It has a built-in sensor to detect whether a person is near the toilet or not. If it is, the toilet cover will automatically raise up. This way, you can keep your hand cleans, since you don’t have to open the cover with your hand like when you use the normal toilet. Once you’ve done your “toilet business” and walk away from the toilet, its cover will automatically close.

The toilet has an integrated control system that built on the wall. You can use it to control the toilet, including flushing it in a touch of a button. Again, no need to use your hand to touch the dirty toilet. Even if you forget to flush it (yuck!), the toilet will do it for you, automatically. Might be perfect for kids or elderly people.

The toilet also thinks about your comfortness. The seat is heated and there’s an MP3 player with SD slot! Just remember not to spend your time singing your favourite song and forget to get out from there.

OneSelf – Bathroom for Single Person

Person who lives alone usually want to keep his home clean, tidy, and has a lot of empty space. And that’s why Pavel designed this Oneself project. It’s a bathroom dedicated for person who lives by himself / herself. And if you look closely at the screenshot above, actually there’s no bathroom. All of the bathroom equipments, including the toilet and the shower, are attached to the wall. If you need to use it, just “flip” the wall to reveal the secret bathroom. Once you finished, simply return it again to the back of the wall.

Aquarium Toilet with Acrylic Tank

Check out what I found upon searching for toilet image for my previous post. An aquarium toilet (or is it toilet aquarium?)! As you can see from the image on the right, basically, it’s an additional aquarium tank added on your toilet. Really cool. Now you can let those little fishes watch you taking shower.

The aquarium toilet, called Aquariass, is designed by Oliver Beckert. Technically, it’s a 3/8″ acrylic aquarium tank, with 1.6gpf. (federal standard), and 22″ x 14″ x 9″ deep dimension. If interested, you can order it here. You can even ask for a different / custom shape acrylic aquarium tank.

Acrylic is a clear plastic material used to construct aquariums. It is half the weight of glass and its refractive index is closer to that of water than glass, making it more transparent. Acrylic is more easily scratched than glass. Also called Plexiglas. [ source ]

How to Save Your iPod When It (Accidentaly) Goes Down The Toilet

What you should do if your iPod accidentaly dropped into the toilet? Don’t worry, don’t panic. You (probably) still able to rescue your iPod. Here’s what you should do.

Get your iPod off the water (duh!)
Turn it off immediately.
Wait until the iPod is completely dry. Don’t do anything, I repeat, anything, before that. It might work fine after it dries out.
If you are having issues like the Folder icon or Sad Face, you should probably try to erase and restore it. That might work if the hard drive just got a little whacked.
You probably need to replace a few part inside the iPod. Go to iPod repair service and ask them to check the hardware.

My girlfriend has experienced this before. Not her iPod though (well, actually, she didn’t have iPod), but her cellular phone. After she let it dry for about 2-3 days, the phone worked again like a charm. I guess it won’t be much different with iPod.
