The new technology is able to bring a module with thickness of just 2.75mm, about one-half the thickness of existing notebook. One of the product that already use the new backlight system, 11.1-inch wide-format low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCD panel, has started its mass production stage.</p>
<p><span id="more-1210"></span>As stated by the company, the new LCD can fully display DVD movies and TV program and motion picture content with high image quality.</p>
