Specs are similar, including a 12.1-inch LED backlit display, pre-installed Windows Vista, up to 128GB SSD, an ultra-wideband functionality. However, this one comes with a 9-cell battery, letting users to use the laptop for up to 13 hours between they need to refill the juice. Weighs 2.4 pounds, X200S also sports an optional Blu-Ray DVD player and support for Thinkpad X200 Ultrabase, allowing an additional hard drive and secondary battery.</p>

<p>With a starting price of $955, the Thinkpad R61 laptop from Lenovo offers a 14.1-inch widescreen display, up to 4GB of DDR2 main memory, up to 160GB of hard drive, and of course, the next-gen Intel Santa Rosa (a.k.a Centrino Pro) notebook PC platform. This new platform comes with a wide-range of wonderful features, including support for the new series of Merom processors (Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, T7300, T7500, and T700) with 800MHz FSB, support for 802.11n connectivity draft, and an optional 1GB of Intel Turbo Memory for faster boot-up times and applications loading.</p>
<p><span id="more-4624"></span>Moreover, the Thinkpad R61 laptop incorporates either  the new Intel GM956 or PM965 chipsets. The former brings integrated Intel GMA X3100 graphics engine (with 1280&#215;800 resolution) along, while the latter takes advantage of nVidia Quadro NVS-140M graphics engine supporting a resolution of 1440×900.</p>
<p>When it comes to optical devices, customers can choose between a boring DVD/CD-RW combo drive and DVD burner. Blu-Ray DVD burner will be also available, but not until July. Finally, regarding connectivity, apart from the Wireless N draft and standard WiFI, it also sports a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, built-in 56K modem, and optional Bluetooth.</p>
<p>Weighs 5.2lbs, Lenovo Thinkpad R61 laptop is pre-loaded with either Windows XP or Windows Vista (32/64-bit) operating system.</p>

This series consists of general laptop and a convertible one, each based on Intel 945GM Express chipset and features a 12.1-inch widescreen LCD display, up to 4GB of main memory, and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics engine. Wide-range of connectivity options are supported as well, including wireless, bluetooth, LAN, and 56K modem.</p>
<p><span id="more-4398"></span>You can buy Lenovo&#8217;s ThinkPad X60 Tablet PC for $2,412 (with L7400 CPU and other basic configuration). However, if you want the general notebook version, you have to wait for a while until the company announces the price of the product.</p>

<p>Lenovo has just announced the convertible version of its popular Thinkpad X60 laptop. The 12-inch X60 tablet PC, priced at $1,799 (base configuration), features a new MultiView indoor/outdoor anti-reflective/anti-glare display screen with 170° viewing angle and new MultiTouch feature that allows users to move the cursor with their pen or finger. It also boasts the company&#8217;s patent-pending Active Rotate function which automatically change the orientation of the screen depend on the position of the users, no matter which direction it turns. Sounds impressive.</p>
<p><span id="more-3503"></span>On the specs-deparment, Thinkpad X60 Tablet PC is equipped with an Intel 945GM chipset, Intel GMA950 graphics engine, and Intel&#8217;s Low Voltage Core Duo and Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Core Solo processor. Various connectivity options are available, including 802.11 WiFI, Ethernet LAN, WWAN, 56K modem, and optional Bluetooth. It also comes with a DVD burner and supports up to 120GB HDD and up to 4GB RAM.</p>
<p>Weighs 3.8lbs, X60 convertible laptop will be preloaded with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and already compatible with the next generation Windows Vista. Furthemore, its internal battery can deliver juice for up to 7.5 hours between charges.</p>
<p>Lenovo is planned to start shipping the ThinkPad X60 Tablet PC in the early December.</p>
