Priced at a whopping 9,700 EUR, the X-01 D2 from TEAC is a SACD unit which is eqipped with a SACD AS1955 (Multibit Sigma-Delta DAC) chipset, the PCM1704 (Texas Instrument SoundPlus 24-Bit, 96kHz BiCMOS Sign-Magnitude DAC) chipset, and an iLink port. It also boasts the integrated VRDS-NEO reading technology.

Teac Tascam CD-DJ1 – The DJ’s Pocket MP3 Player

Teac recently presented the latest gadget dedicated for the DJs. Under the Tascam range, it’s the CD-DJ1 model, a pocket CD and MP3 player that is compatible with CD-R/RW and support 32 ~ 192kbps MP3 files playback. This player offers a sound range of 20Hz up to 20KHz with 100dB. Since this device is dedicated to DJs, it obviously also able to do some music mixing, so that the DJs can use it on the party or rave.

The Tascam CD-DJ1 CD/MP3 player measures 155 x 275 x 60 mm and weighs 1kg.
