Sysbay UR210 Table MP3 Player

Sysbay recently showcased UR210, an alarm clock with build-in MP3 player capability (well, the company insists the other way though — a MP3 player with alarm clock capability), during Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2007 event. Features include a 1.8-inch TFT LCD display, a SD/MMC card slot, integrated FM radio tuner, built-in speakers, USB 2.0 interface, and six EQ settings (normal, jazz, pop, rock, classical, and bass). Along with MP3, the player can also playback your movie collection as well as display picture and e-book.

No words on pricing and availability.

Sexy Hot Dinner Table

Check it out. A sexy dinner table which will surely makes men stay on their sit during dinner. It called ‘Hot Dinner’ and created by some students of Hongik University. The table features a sexy legs and was displayed at the Korea International Furniture & Interior Fair 2006 back in August.

Coffee Table Fish Tank

Another must buy, well, at least for me. This is a Coffee Table Fish Tank or in other words, an aquarium inside a coffee table. Manufactured by Clear-Seal, this tank comes with a toughened glass top that has polished rounded edges. It has either a reproduction or mirror corner section that covers the filter and lighting system. For the “indoor” decoration, the aquarium is equipped with light diffuser (the one in the corner to illuminate the tank, the one under the tank is optional), fine and coarse biological sponges, plastic filter cover and acrylic table top support blocks which are designed to minimize sound vibration coming into the tank.

Four different table sizes are available. The smallest is 34.5 x 34.5 x 16 inches (priced £899.95) while the largest is 58 x 34.5 x 16 inches (£1,149.95). An additional bottom plinth diffuse costs around £50.

According to the manufacturer, the Coffee Table Fish Tank is suitable for the following coldwater fish: Black Moors, Bubble Eye, Chocolate Pom Pom’s, Comets, Fan Tails, Orandas, Shubunkin or small Koi.

Table Manners

I’m usually impress with all the creative designs on YankoDesign, but this dining table failed me. I can’t find a good (and logic) reason why we have to place a white table cloth in the middle of the table which make it hard, if not impossible, for us to see each other. Well, it has a camera and a projector, that will capture the live image of the person across and project real-time video relays on the white cloth. But still, why?

Strange Furniture Design
