Recently, Asus announced two widescreen LCD monitor with 1680×1050 resolution, fast 2ms response time, 16/10 aspect ratio, and as always, Asus Splendid Video Intelligence Technology. The two displays, 20-inch MW201U and 22-inch 22-inch MW221U, are the first LCD screens from the company that incorporated a built-in DVI input with HDCP support. This HDCP DVI addition ensures high-resolution video signal integrety and image quality. As for the previously mentioned Splendid system, it boosts the quality of the images by fine tuning the color, brightness, contrast and sharpness of images in different video applications and offering 5 preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Games, Night View and Standard) selection via hotkey and 3 skin tone options (Reddish, Yellowish and Natural).

Along with these two HDCP monitors, Asus also announced the PW201 LCD display, the enhanced version of the MW201U with additional extra features, such as an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam module, Picture-in-Picture function, USB 2.0, composite, and S-video ports. This one has won an award from iF China Design Award 2006 exhibition.
