Pantech’s latest handset, SKY IM-S350, is sooo thick (less than 10mm) that you can easily slip it onto your pocket. It is equipped with an aluminium casing, so you can bet it’d lightweight as well. Inside this metallic slider, you can find a nice HSDPA support for high-speed internet access, a background noise filter technology, an electronic dictionary, a microSD card slot, a video telephony function, and an integrated 2 megapixel CMOS camera.

Sold in three different colors (black, champagne gold, silver), SKY IM-S350 cell phone will be retailed for 500,000 Won and can be purchased starting from the second half of September.

Sky recently introduced the new IM-S370 cell phone in Korea market. This sliding-mechanism handset offers a 2.6-inch WQVGA display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, a microSD card slot, multimedia player, built-in GPS navigation capabilities, T-Map, Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio tuner, and M-Banking. It also supports HSDPA connectivity, giving you a blazing high-speed internet access.

Sky, Pantech & Curitel’s sub-brand, has just announced the availability of its SKY IM-S310L cell phone in all LG Telecom retail stores. Dubbed as “Diamond Pattern’, this sliding-mechanism handset sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, LED lighting, built-in MP3 player, and BankOn capability. It is available only in Korea with a price tag of 300,000 (KRW) or about €195.

Pantech & Curitel, a Korea-based manufacturer, recently released its new Sky, the IM-S300. The cool thing is, this sliding style handset is dubbed as “Romantic Wave Slim Phone”. Huh? Well, as you can see from the picture, it does SLIM, and it comes with a WAVE-like keypad design, so half of the mystery are already solved. But what about ROMANTIC? Any suggestion? Or maybe because it has a light violed LED lighting on its front keypad?

Anyway, the IM-S300 cell phone features a 2.2-inch display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, an electronic dictionary, file viewer, media player, and multitasking capability. It is available in two flavours — black and white — and can be purchased for 400,000 Won (about 297 EUR).

Pantech & Curitel recently presented its new HSDPA-ready cell phone in Korea market, “SKY IM-U220″. If you notice, the handset looks like a dolphin. Not sure whether it’s just coincidence or the comapny did it on purpose. Being a HSDPA-ready mobile device, it offers up to 7.2Mbps of data access speed, either for browsing the web, downloading content, or accessing email. Its other features are just pretty standard though, for example, a 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, microSD card slot, and e-Dictionary.

SKY has just launched “Shooting Star” (model: IM-U200), its latest cell phone with a unique spacecraft-like design. The handset utilizes Bluetooth-based wireless Personal Area Network (PAN), thus enabling wireless headset and wireless hands-free call. Moreover, it features a 1.3 megapixel camera module, electronic dictionary, built-in MP3 player, text viewer, and multi-tasking capability. The phone is scheduled to hit the store later this week with a suggested price of 500,000(KRW).

A Korea-based company, SKY, has just released its latest T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Media Broadcast) cell phone called “SKINY TV IM-S230″ in Korea market. The company chooses that name not for nothing since the handset does slim (9.9mm thick) and can receive broadcasted TV programme. One of its highlighted feature is the adoption of magnetic interaction for the sliding mechanism. Other features include a 2.2-inch QVGA display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, document viewer, and a handy e-dictionary.

Pantech & Curitel has just launched its new SKY IM-R200 cell phone in Korea market. This is an innovative handset boasting a dual LCD design and unique keyboard. Other than that, you’d get all the usual stuff, such as built-in multimedia player, integrated 2 megapixel camera module with autofocus, 3D sound support, and 116MB internal memory with microSD card slot for additional storage. Well, CES 2007 has finally started, and you can expect to see a LOT of CES-related news in the next couple days. Before that, check out the new S-DMB cell phone from Pantech under its SKY brand, the ToyBar IM-R110. This handset is equipped with a nifty 90-degree rotating LCD that would be nice for watching TV programme and movie, video call, or playing games. Of course it comes with a camera module (2 megapixel), but the cool thing is, this camera has built-in face recognition capability, thus automatically adjust the screen to the center of the users face upon video calling. It also works during normal still photo shot — simply take a picture using Frame mode and the face of the subject will automatically fir the background images.

Other features include a joystick for easy navigating, two built-in speakers on the back, and electronic dictionary function. The SKY Toy Bar IM-R110 DMB Phone will be retailed between 600,000 KRW and 700,000 KRW.
