Elecom presents two new accessories for your Nintendo Wii. One is a silicon case for the WiiMote that comes with a “handle” on its back. This way, gamers can hold the Wiimote firmly and don’t have to worry about the flying Wiimote while playing bowling on Wii Sports. As for the second accessories, it’s a case that will transform the Wiimote into regular controller like the Playstation’s gamepad.

Adaptec KRTV-AGB/U2 – World’s Smallest Silicon TV Tuner

Adaptec Japan has released their new extra small TV tuner unit, KRTV-AGB/U2 model. Said to be the world’s smallest TV tuner, it has a silicon tuner and powered by the USB2 port, so no external power required. Utilizes gamebridge technology, image of external video input and indicatory delay time of sound is held down to a mere 0.07 seconds. It supports vide recording to MPEG1 or MPEG2 format, as well as connectivity with gaming consoles, such as PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube. Unfortunately, it is only compayible with Windows 2000 / XP.

CSR Offers Bluetooth to Grundig Mobile Portfolio

Grundig has selected CSR’s BlueCore3-ROM silicon to Bluetooth-enable one of the company’s first mobile handsets, G4021. The mobile phone will feature a complete multimedia functionality, including video messaging, downloads and integrated digital camera. The inclusion of CSR’s BlueCore3-ROM silicon lets Grundig mobile to offer market-leading Bluetooth connectivity easily and for minimal bill of materials (BOM) and design requirements.

BlueCore3 is fully compliant with version 1.2 Bluetooth and supports eSCO channels to ensure retrieval of any dropped data packets in order to boost the stability and quality of the wireless connection. The ROM variation of BlueCore3 offers a cost-effective means of integrating full Bluetooth connectivity in a small footprint, backed by CSR’s extensive testing and product development process.
