Toshiba updated their portfolio with the new series of REGZA Series LCD TV, REGZA C8000. All sports 120Hz panel technology and reduced power consumption. Currently, there are three different models are available — the 42-inch 42C8000 (127kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), the 37-inch 37C8000 (119kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), and the 32-inch 32C8000 (95kW/year power consumption, a resolution of 1366 x 768). The first two TVs have a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 13000:1; while the last one has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30000:1. No words on pricing at the moment.

The new member of Toshiba Regza series LCD TV, RV Series, comes in three different sizes: 37-inch, 42-inch, and 46-inch. All of them features a resolution of 1080p (HD), a 100Hz panel with Active Vision M100HD technology, NICAM Stereo and SRS WOW technology, a built-in digital TV tuner, HDMI port, a contrast ratio range of 18,000:1 ~ 30,000:1 (Dynamic Contrast Ratio), and a 10-bit colour processing.

The company is going to release Toshiba Regza RV LCD TV in October. No words on pricing at the moment.

Priced at around $1169, Toshiba’s 42-inch HDTV, “Regza 42X3000P”, features a contrast ratio of 6000:1, a brightness of 500cd/m2, an aspect ratio of 16:9, a response time of 8ms, and a resolution of 1920×1080p. It adopted an active backlight control, along with PIXEL PROcessing III PRO, 3D color management and Cross Color Noise Suppression engines; promising sharp and clear images on the screen. Moreover, the HD-Ready TV is also equipped with 2 x HDMI ports, analogue / component / RGB connectors, and 2 x 20W build-in speakers with SRS WOW sound processing engine.

Performance highlights of the Toshiba Regza 42X3000P (similar to 42X3030D but without digital TV Tuner) include 6.000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m² brightness, 8 msec response time, active backlight control, PIXEL PROcessing III PRO, 3D color management and Cross Color Noise Suppression. When connecting the Sony PS3 and using 1080p output the Toshiba Regza 42X3000P shows what it really is made for. The HD image is stunning and very crisp. Game footage looks sharp and clear.

Toshiba presents Regza 20C2000, its latest 20-inch HD-ready LCD TV. The display features a resolution of 1366×768, a viewing angle of 178 degree, two HDMI ports, and a DVI port. It also incorporated Toshiba Meta Brain Pro technology and SRS WOW audio processing.
