Measures 107.3 x 48.8 x 19mm and weighs 140 grams, Samsung’s wonderful MBP200 Micro Projector is now officially available in Korea market with a price tag of 400,000 Won or about 225 EUR. Introduced at previous CES event, the pocket projector can display Microsoft Office files, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; as well as Adobe PDF files in 480 x 320 (HVGA) projection panel. It comes with a 2.2-inch LCD screen with 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, as well as built-in file viewer, picture viewer (JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, BMP), and media player supporting MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, WAV, DivX, XVid, WMV9, MPEG-2, MPEG-4. Other features include a 190MB of onboard memory, an integrated DMB TV tuner, a 3.5mm audio output, and a microSD media card slot (up to 16GB supported).

Samsung Electronics is going to release the new version of their Pico MBP 200 mobile projector by the end of this year in Korea market. This little device can project your image onto 50-inch viewing area, thanks to Texas Instruments’s DLP Pico chipset. Simply place your Power Point slideshow, picture, or video clips on a microSD card and plug it onto the MBP 200’s card slot. You can also check the output from its built-in 2.2-inch QVGA display and hear the music through its 3.5mm headphone jack.

Canon officially announced the release date of its upcoming WUX10 LCD Projector. Coming to store in December, WUX10 adopted LCOS (Liquid Crystal On Silicon) technology that allows the projector to provide high-resolution images on the screen. It supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200, as well as 1080p video content. Furthermore, the projector also has an aspect ratio of 16:10, a contrast ratio of 1000:1. a brightness of 3,200 lumens, and AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System).

Priced at €11,300, Canon WUX10 projector is equipped with HDMI, two DVI-I ports, and an Analog RGB input.

Measures 381 x 127 x 305mm and weighs 5kg, Sanyo PLV-Z60 HD LCD Projector features a 3LCD technology, a resolution of 720p, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a 2x optical zoom, and a brightness of 1,200 lumens. Moreover, the projector allows an image projection of 100-inch and is also equipped with 12-Bit digital processing IC for video decoding process, two HDMI interfaces, two component-d, S-Video, and composite connections. PLV-Z60 is scheduled to hit the store in September and retailed for €880 (about $1,274).

Well, I’m not sure myself, but Epson is going to release two of them in the middle of September next month, the EB-W6 and EB-X6 models. Measure 326 x 245 x 92mm, both incorporate 3LCD technology and boasts a WXGA (1280×800) resolution, a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, and an optical zoom of 1.2x.

Onto the details, Epson EB-X6 LCD projector features a brightness of 2,000 lumens, while EB-W6 has 2,200 lumens. The latter also comes with a HDMI input terminal, a 7W built-in speaker, a USB interface, an SD media card slot, and a power consumption of 246W. Price is respectively set at €550 (about $811) and €650 (about $959).

Sony introduced another projector on its infoComm08’s booth, VPL-CW125. Priced at a whopping $3,070, the device offers an impressive image quality with natural colors and unsurpassed brightness, along with a handy networking capability. Evenmore, its Side Shot Digital Horizontal Shift function guarantee that the projection will be perfect in any room, no matter how awkward its obstruction is. Check the detail specs after the jump.

Sony showcased a brand new multimedia LCD projector during infoComm08 event in Las Vegas. The VPL-FX40 offers a resolution of XGA, a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens, and network support. According to the company, the projector is designed for education, government, corporate, house of worship and hospitality purposes.

Acer is going to release two new projectors on the Japanese market: Acer P3250 and P5280. The former, retailed at around €600 (about $941), offers a resolution of 1024 x 768, a brightness of 2000 lumens (or 1600 lumens in ECO mode), and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. It is equipped with a built-in 2W speakers and an analog RGB and HDMI interfaces.

Regarding P5280 projector, it sports a brightness of 3500 lumens (or 2800 lumens in ECO mode), a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and a resolution of 1024×768. It comes with the same analog RGB and HDMI interfaces, but with the additional DVI, S-Video, and Composite inputs. The price tag is set at €660 or around $1035.

NEC unveiled two new network-ready video projectors, the NP905 and NP01W. Priced respectively at €1,285 ($1,999) and €835 ($1,299), both devices support Windows Vista’s Windows Network Projector functionality, thus enabling users to share information from their laptops or desktops via a wired or wireless network without the need for proprietary software. Moreover, remote desktop connection enables these projectors to connect to a networked computer remotely, allowing complete control of the remote computer with the connection of a USB mouse and keyboard directly to the projector’s USB input.

Regarding specs, NEC NP905 projector features a brightness of 3,000 lumens, a resolution of 1024×800 (XGA), a contrast ratio of 500:1, a built-in speaker, and a HDMI interface. As for the NEC NP01W, it sports a brightness of 2,000 lumens, a 1280×800 (WXGA) resolution, and a 400:1 contrast ratio. Both video projectors will be shipped in July 2008.
