… are awesome. All landed to the Korea market, the three notebooks are Satellite A300 Black Label II, Satellite A300, and Portege M800. With price respectively set at 1,790,000 Won (about $1,705), 1,490,000 Won (about $1,419), and 1,590,000 Won (about $1,515), they are all powered by the new Intel Centrino 2 platform — the 2.53Ghz Core 2 Duo T9400 for Black Label II and the 2.26Ghz Core 2 Duo P8400 for Portege M800. Gorgeous, aren’t they?

Onto the detail, Toshiba Satellite A300 Black Label II laptop features a 15.4-inch display, a 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM, an ATI Radeon HD3650 graphics engine, a 320GB of hard disk (2 x 160GB), a DVD SuperMulti burner, Bluetooth, and Wireless LAN connectivity. As for the white pearl Portege M800, it sports a 13.3-inch display, a 2GB of main memory, an Intel X4500 HD graphics engine, a 250GB of HDD, a 9-in-1 media card reader, a DVD SuperMulti burner, Bluetooth, and Wireless LAN.

Toshiba yesterday announced the release of Portege R500-S5007V, which boasted as the first laptop with 128GB SSD (Solid State Drive) in the world. For a whopping $2,999 (about €1,927), you’d get a notebook PC powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 processor (2MB L2, 533Mhz FSB), a 2GB of DDR2 main memory, an Intel GMA950 graphics engine, and Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition operating system (or Windows XP Professional if you want).

But wait, along with the previously mentioned 128GB SATA SSD, Toshiba Portege R500-S5007V laptop also features a 12.1-inch widescreen display with 1280×800 (WXGA) resolution, a DVD-SuperMulti burner, WiFI, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR connectivity.

Measuring as thin as 0.77-inches, the Portégé R500 series uses Toshiba’s proprietary High Density Mounting Technology process to enable dual-sided motherboard component mounting. This innovative technology produces a motherboard that is one-third the size of a mainstream 15.4-inch notebook’s motherboard, while still providing users the same functionality.

Toshiba recently announced the official release date for its brand new PDA smartphone, the Portege G810. Like its siblings, Portege G710 and G910 models, this handset is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and supports the high-speed HSDPA and HSUPA connectivities. Moreover, it also features a 2.83-inch QVGA (320×240) touchscreen display, an integrated 3 megapixel camera module, a Bluetooth v2.0, a USB 2.0 interface, WiFI, built-in FM radio tuner with RDS and GPS / A-GPS receiver, and microSD media card slot (up to 4GB supported). No words on pricing though.

More and more GPS phones emerge. Here goes another one, the “Portege 810″ from Toshiba. Introduced during Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, Portege 810 comes with ab uilt-in A-GPS receiver, allowing its users to view and navigate through the maps. To let them download the maps data at a high-speed connection, a HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity are provided. Moreover, a large 2.83-inch touchscreen display is included for convenient navigation.

Other features include an integrated 3 megapixel camera module, FM radio tuner, Bluetooth, WiFI, microSD media card slot (up to 4GB supported), and a 1530mAh Li-Ion battery. At just 14mm thick, Toshiba Portege 810 GPS phone also boasts a stylish black mirror finish and a touch-sensitive keypad, along with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional operating system.

Toshiba Portege 810 cell phone is expected to hit the store next month. No words on pricing at the moment.

If you don’t think this is a sexy slick usb modem, I don’t know what will! Unveiled during the company’s press event in Milan, Italy this week, the “Toshiba Portege G450″ is a GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA USB modem that also doubles as an emergency tri-band GSM phone. Just plug it a separately-available headset onto this 56 grams device and you can call your girlfriend right away. As for its modem capability, it is powered by Qualcomm MSM6280 chipset and can give you a ride to the world wide web at a maximum speed of 3.6Mbps (3.5G).

Measures 98×36×16mm, Toshiba Portege G450 USB modem features a 96×36px OLED display, a 160MB of onboard memory, and a mini-USB interface. Its battery offers up to 300 hours of standby time and up to 180 minutes of talk time. Moreover, it has a unique 2-part keypad which probably takes a while to get used to.

Toshiba Portege G540 USB modem will hit the store in March for 199 EUR. It’ll be available in three flavours: white, black, and red.

Toshiba Korea unleashed the 12.1-inch Portege R500 laptop. Weighs at just 1.06kg, this all-in-one notebook PC sports a mini motherboard (20 grams) with dual-sided component mounting by utilizing the company’s proprietary High Density Mounting Technology process. Moreover, it features an Intel ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor, up to 12.5 hours of battery life, and a 7mm Super Multi DVD burner. The retail price is set at 2,498,000 (KRW).

Once again, Toshiba showcases its Portege R400 Tablet PC to public, this time during CeBIT 2007 event in Germany. Earlier this year, the company has also displayed the convertible laptop at CES 2007 trade show. This machine is powered by an Intel Core Duo U2500 (1.2GHz) CPU, a 2GB of DDR2 main memory, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 graphics engine, and an 80GB of hard drive. Along with Tecra M5-S4333 laptop, Toshiba also announced Portege M400-S5032 Tablet PC. This 12.1-inch convertible laptop sports a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 1GB of DDR2 main memory, a 100GB of 5,400rpm SATA hard drive, and an Ultra Slim SelectBay double-layer DVD burner. Moreover, pre-loaded with Windows Vista Business OS (32-bit edition), the machine is equipped with Intel GMA 950 graphics engine with up to 256MB of shared memory, an Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in 56K modem, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Priced at $1,699, Toshiba’s Porteg M400-S5032 Tablet PC also comes with three USB ports, a 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, IEEE-1394, a PC Card slot, VGA-out, a 6-cell Li-Ion battery, and a finger print reader. It weighs at least 4.5 pounds.

As expected, Toshiba announced the Portege R400 Tablet PC at CES 2007. Dubbed as “the signature Windows Vista PC”, the notebook is also claimed as the world’s first laptop with automatic e-mail and calendar events synchronization through Microsoft Active Notifications integration. It supports Toshiba Wireless Port Replicator and the innovative Vista SideShow feature, providing a secondary Edge Display on the panel (like Asus W5Fe), and also sports patent-pending elevated rotational hinge.

“To assist with this synchronization process, the Portege R400 features Toshiba’s ConfigFree, which helps detect and connect to the strongest and most reliable network connection available. To further enhance the functionality of the system’s automatic e-mail synchronization capabilities, the company added the Toshiba Edge Display to the Portege R400. Located on the front edge of the Portege R400, this secondary display serves as the user’s Personal Information Assistant allowing the user to easily monitor his/her inbox and calendar activity. To ensure full benefits of the convertible design, the Toshiba Edge Display is viewable in notebook or tablet mode and even when the unit is stored in a carrying case“, Toshiba explains.

The 12.1-inch Portege R400 Tablet PC is planned to hit the market in the end of January, right when Microsoft releases the Vista OS to public. Base confic with Genuine Windows Vista Business pre-installed can be purchased for $2,599 through resellers, mail order partners, or directly from ToshibaDirect.com.

A 12-inch convertible laptop is going to be released by Toshiba. Under the Portege range, Portege R400 Tablet PC boasts its wide-range of connectivity options, including 3G, Verizon’s EvDO, WiFI, Bluetooth, and Gigabit ethernet. With all of these features, the company claimed this Vista-ready machine as the world’s first system with a wireless dock to connect to a desktop peripherals. Toshiba also makes the Portege R400 Tablet PC its signature laptop.

No words on pricing and availability for now, but Toshiba’s Portege R400 Tablet PC is expected to be released near the end of January, close to the scheduled release date of Windows Vista.
