Comes with a nice 1/2.3-inch 10 megapixel CCD sensor, the new Pentax Optio M60 Digital Camera sports a 5x optical zoom lens, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, up to 6,400 ISO sensitivity, a 36.5MB of onboard storage with SD/SDHC media card slot, and finally, a digital SR mode. This successor of M50 digicam is available in three different flavours (silver, pink, and blue) and will be ready for shopping on August 22nd. The price tag is set at €110 or about $171.

“K200D” is the new 10.2 megapixel DSLR camera from Pentax. It sports an up to 1600 ISO, image stabilizer function, and a large 2.7-inch widescreen LCD. It comes with the company’s proprietary Shake Reduction mechanism, which reduces camera shake for sharp, blur-free images even under demanding shooting conditions, such as shooting with a telephoto lens, shooting in low light conditions or at night without supplementary flash illumination, or using extended exposures for sunset scenes. There’s also an Auto Picture mode that automatically sets the most appropriate shooting mode (such as Portrait, Landscape and Macro) for a given subject or situation, as well as the new Custom Image function — lets the user select one of the six modes and adjust an image’s processing to their preference by automatically adjusting tone, saturation, contrast, and sharpness — and a user-friendly Dust Removal system — prevent dust from sticking to the surface of the CMOS image sensor (or low-pass filter).

Pentax updates its product portfolio with the new “Optio V10″ digital camera. Measures 55 x 58 x 19mm and weighs 120 grams, it sports an 8 megapixel CCD sensor, a 3-inch display, a 52MB onboard memory, and SD/SDHC media card slot. This camera will be available soon in Japan with a price tag of around €215.

Pentax updates its product portfolio with the new digital camera under its Optio brand, the “Optio Z10″. This compact point-and-shoot camera comes with an 8 megapixel sensor and features a 7x optical zoom lens and up to ISO 800. Users can record their own movie (AVI format) on the provided 52.1MB onboard memory, or store it externally on a SD/SDHC media cards. Moreover, the camera measures 94 x 25 x 58mm and weighs at just 125 grams. That’d fit nicely on your shirt pocket.

Pentax updates its Optio digital camera’s range with the newly born baby, “Option M40″. This affordable point-and-shoot camera, at just 20,000 Yen (or €120), sports an 8 megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.5-inches LCD display, and an ISO 3200. You can also record your own video in VGA quality at 30fps, but not sure whether there’s an onboard storage to store it. At least, you can plug in your SD or SDHC media card for external storage option.

Pentax M40 digital camera will be soon available in Japan market in various colors.

Pentax unveils its new digital camera, Optio M30, in Korea market. This 7 megapixel camera sports a handy face recognition AF (auto-focus) & AE (auto-exposure) functions, guarantee an optimal result while taking a portrait photos. It also incorporated anti-handshake function, reducing the possibility of blurred image caused by unstable camera position. This compact digicam boasts a 3-inch touch screen display, a rechargable Li-Ion battery, a 12MB onboard memory, and a SD memory card slot. With the provided stylus pen, users can even add their own drawing to the pictures directly from the camera.

Pentax K10D D-SLR camera, through Pentax’s Korean retailer Donwon Systems, has been released in Korea market. This 10.2MP premium digital SLR camera offers various impressive functionalities and innovations. To begin with, it comes with an enhanced CCD and SR mechanism which is designed to minimize camera shake by oscilating the CCD image sensor vertically and horizontally at high speed using magnetic force, while adjusting the speed of oscillation in proportion to the amount of camera shake detected by built-in sensors.

Another highlighted feature is the new DR (Dust Removal) system, backed up by Pentax’s Special Protect (SP) coating, that protect the CCD surface from dust. The digicam also incorporated a shift mechanism to clear the CCD from the dirty dust. Furthermore, the Shake Reduction (SR) system is claimed to effectively offer a 2.5 to 4 stop advantage for sharp, blur-free images even under difficult shooting conditions.

Pentax recently announced their new Digital SLR camera, the K100 model (or K100D to be exact). The 6.1 megapixel digital camera sports a large 2.5-inch colors LCD screen, a max ISO of 3200, a 1/4000 sec shutter speed, 12x digital zoom, and CCD Shake Reduction System for sharper and clearer photo shot result. Other features include continuous photo mode (2.8 scenes/sec, JPG), SD card support, noise-reduction, USB 2.0 and PictBridge connectivity, and 5 photo effects.

Pentax K100D Digital-SLR camera is planned to hit the Japanese market on late July. No words about the price though.
