Pantech Korea and AU together present an interesting Pantech-AU NS02 clamshell handset which looks like James Bond’s briefcase. Available in Japan market through KDDI, the phone features a standard CDMA 1X WIN network, a 2.7-inch QVGA display, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, a microSD media card slot (up to 2GB supported), and a 220 minutes of talk time per full battery charge. Measures 51 x 102 x 19.4mm and weighs 134 grams, NS02 cell phone is available in three different flavours — black, ivory, and green.

Pantech Korea officially announced the new Matrix Pro PDA phone yesterday morning. Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Edition operating system, the handset sports 3G/HSDPA connectivity, built-in basic GPS navigation receiver with AT&T Navigator software, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, video share function, and Bluetooth. Soon to be available in States through AT&T network, this phone has 2-way sliding mechanism, featuring both regular keypad and full QWERTY keyboard.

The only strange thing about this wonderful cell phone is way the company uses the standard edition of Windows Mobile 6.1 instead of the Pro edition. I believe it’d reach wider market if Matrix Pro comes with WiMo 6.1 Pro installed…

Pantech Wireless of Korea officially announced the launch of Pantech Slate cell phone which is claimed to be the thinnest QWERTY keyboard handset in the world. At less than 1cm thick, Slate offers a convenient way of sending text messages, multimedia messages, instant messages, and emails, along with a premium-built design, tactile buttons, and a nice rubberized back panel for comfort gripping. Other features include an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module and Bluetooth connectivity.

Pantech Slate is available immediately at AT&T stores with a price tag of $49.99 after a two-year service agreement.

Pantech’s latest handset, SKY IM-S350, is sooo thick (less than 10mm) that you can easily slip it onto your pocket. It is equipped with an aluminium casing, so you can bet it’d lightweight as well. Inside this metallic slider, you can find a nice HSDPA support for high-speed internet access, a background noise filter technology, an electronic dictionary, a microSD card slot, a video telephony function, and an integrated 2 megapixel CMOS camera.

Sold in three different colors (black, champagne gold, silver), SKY IM-S350 cell phone will be retailed for 500,000 Won and can be purchased starting from the second half of September.

Here’s the successor of Pantech’s IM-R200, the IM-R300 cell phone. The specs lists looks sooo impressive with a huge combination of communcation and entertainment capabilities. Measures 51 x 102 x 13.9mm and weighs 111 grams, the handset features a 2.6-inch WQVGA (400×240) LCD display, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, MP3 player, a 260MB of onboard memory with microSD media card slot for additional storage, built-in DMB TV tuner and GPS receiver, eWallet, and HSDPA connectivity.

Comes in a sleek design, Pantech IM-R300 GSM/WCDMA phone is available only in Korea via SKY network.

Sky, Pantech & Curitel’s sub-brand, has just announced the availability of its SKY IM-S310L cell phone in all LG Telecom retail stores. Dubbed as “Diamond Pattern’, this sliding-mechanism handset sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, LED lighting, built-in MP3 player, and BankOn capability. It is available only in Korea with a price tag of 300,000 (KRW) or about €195.

Pantech & Curitel, a Korea-based manufacturer, recently released its new Sky, the IM-S300. The cool thing is, this sliding style handset is dubbed as “Romantic Wave Slim Phone”. Huh? Well, as you can see from the picture, it does SLIM, and it comes with a WAVE-like keypad design, so half of the mystery are already solved. But what about ROMANTIC? Any suggestion? Or maybe because it has a light violed LED lighting on its front keypad?

Anyway, the IM-S300 cell phone features a 2.2-inch display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, an electronic dictionary, file viewer, media player, and multitasking capability. It is available in two flavours — black and white — and can be purchased for 400,000 Won (about 297 EUR).

Pantech & Curitel recently presented its new HSDPA-ready cell phone in Korea market, “SKY IM-U220″. If you notice, the handset looks like a dolphin. Not sure whether it’s just coincidence or the comapny did it on purpose. Being a HSDPA-ready mobile device, it offers up to 7.2Mbps of data access speed, either for browsing the web, downloading content, or accessing email. Its other features are just pretty standard though, for example, a 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, microSD card slot, and e-Dictionary.

Sky “Dolphin” Phone is retailed for 400,000 (KRW) or about 309 EUR.

Pantech unleashed a new slim phone in Korea, the S230. This cell phone has integrated DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver, allowing user to watch commercials satellite broadcasted TV programme. Among its competitors, S230 is one of the slimmest mobile TV phone with just 9.9mm thick. Other features include an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, built-in MP3 player, a 2.2-inch display, and dictionary program.
