Looks like I got incorrect information before. I&#8217;ve said that the phone will be based on CDMA / EVDO, but according to trusted source, the handset will run on GSM network. Even the high-speed internet access, 3G/HSDPA, will be supported. Other corrections are the 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.</p>
<p><span id="more-4884"></span>Furthermore, the Gandolf will have a technical name of Palm Treo 5xx. It&#8217;d be released in two different versions. One with Windows Mobile 6.0 OS and touchscreen display. And other with new Palm OS and standard display. The similarities include a 2.4-inch (QVGA) 65K colors display, a 256MB of onboard memory with microSD card slot for external storage, a 64MB RAM, and A2DP support. Weighs 135 grams and measures 117 x 65 x 13.8mm, Palm Gandolf PDA Phone will be available in several different colors.</p>

This smartphone is the world&#8217;s first Palm OS smartphone that comes with a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and anti hand shaking capabilities. Based on the smartphone platform developed by PiTech and built on the Palm OS Garnet operating system, Pitech I-10 supports Quad-band GSM Network and a mini SD expansion slot. In addition, it has a 2.4-inch color QVGA display with 240&#215;320 pixel resolution.</p>
<p><span id="more-1378"></span>The smartphone will be launched across multiple markets in Asia and Europe in Q2 2006.</p>
