It’s called “Aqua Tune V2 Nano” and it is responsible to keep your iPod Nano safe from dust, water (down to 1 metres max for up to 30 minutes), accidental drop, and scratch. You’d love to have it on your party or during a nice summer trip to the beach as it comes with a build-in speaker, providing music to your happy hours. Apple Introduces iPod Touch and 3G iPod Nano in Korea Market

Apple recently announced the launch of new “iPod Touch” and 3G-version of “iPod Nano” in Korea market. Measures 110 x 61.8 x 8mm and weighs at just 120 grams, iPod Touch features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, built-in WiFI connectivity, and YouTube playback. Of course, all the standard iPod functions are supported as well. As for playback, it provides up to 22 hours of music and up to 5 hours of video. iPod Touch is expected to hit the shelves by the end of September with a suggested price of 324,000 (KRW) for 8GB version and 434,000 (KRW) for 16GB version.

As for the new version of iPod Nano (picture below), it adds 3G functionality to the standard iPod Nano features (2-inch display, iPod click wheel, MPEG4 & H.254 support). Its battery could lasts for up to 24 hours of music playback and up to 5 hours of video playback. Measures 52.3 x 69.8 x 5mm and weighs 49.2 grams, it is available in two capacity variants: 4GB and 8GB. Price is set at 165,000 (KRW) and 225,000 (KRW) respectively. Each will be released in four different flavours: silver, black blue, green, and red.

iPod Nano Mickey Kit from Runat

And here goes another Mickey Mouse stuff. This time, the Nano owners are the lucky one as now they can have this cool (and cute) iPod Nano cases with Mickey character engraved on it. They will also receive a bunch of stickers for the front, a protection pouch, a lanyard to wear the thing around your neck, and even a membership card to prove that you own it. Why is it necessary? Ipod Nano Box-Shaped Speaker From Thanko

Another cool product today – a box-shaped speaker from Thanko (P/N: BOXSPB01). To be exact, it’s an iPod Nano box-shaped speaker! Don’t underestimate its small form factor, because it’s already equipped with a built-in amplifier. Powered by two AAA batteries, you can also connect it to other audio device, including PSP, – thanks to the 35mm line in jack. Well, I still don’t see the need to buy iPod for myself right now, but this kind of product really make me want to go to the store buy that Nano, and try this speaker…

Indie iPod Nano Bands

Remember the iPod Nano Armband from Nike? Here comes a similar fashion product – Indie Nano Bands – but this one’s coming from Gebera Design. Priced at $30, this unique hand-made slipcases band are all made with black fabric, foam padding, clear plastic casings (for the cover sections), and complimentary reinforced fabrics (for the bands part). There are many cool designs you can choose (the Monkey is one of my favourite), and the best thing, it’s reversible, which means, you can use it with the back side faced front (or vice-versa of course).

Apple To Launch 1GB iPod Nano

Apple has announced an economic edition of the iPod Nano, with just 1GB storage capacity. Priced at $149, this new addition obviously has similar features like its big brothers, the 2GB and 4GB version. It can hold up to 240 songs or 15000 photos, supports USB 2.0 connectivity, and seamlessly integrated with iTunes music store and iTunes jukebox. The 1GB iPod Nano is available in two flavours, black and white, and can be purchased now at the stores (if they already have it). It will be bundled with earbud headphones, carrying case, USB 2.0 cable, and iTunes CD for PC and Mac.

On the other hand, Apple also cut down the price of iPod Shuffle by $30. The new price for the 512MB model is now $69, while the 1GB variant is retailed for $99.
