<p>Mappy has just launched its Iti navigation system to the France market. Priced at 299 € or around $400, this GPS device boasts its two processing engines, the 200MHz Magic Eyes MMSP2 CPUs, that promised to deliver faster map and route calculation and update. Backed up by  a 128MB of RAM and 32MB of ROM, it also uses the high-quality SiRF Star IIi GPS receiver for guaranteed accuracy and perfomance. The maps of France, provided by Tele Atlas, is preloaded on the system, along with over 270,000 POIs divided into 60 categories.</p>
<p><span id="more-3613"></span>Measures 132 x 75 x 19.5mm and weighs 220grams, Mappy Iti GPS is also equipped with a 4.3-inch 16M colors TFT LCD display with  a resolution of 480 x 272 and touch screen user interface, a Li-Ion battery which provids up to 3 hours of navigation and 2 hours of multimedia, and built-in multimedia player with support for wide-range of popular media formats, including XVID, DivX3/4/5, MPG, MPEG1, MPEG4 SP, WMV7/8/9, AVI, ASF and MP3.</p>
<p>Note that the price of this navigation system will go up to 350 € by January 10th. So if you want it, be sure to get it before that.</p>
