The Tulip Ego is a portable computer designed for those professionals who already have a lot of money on their pocket, but still want to work hard. Created by Ego, a Ducth company who usually produce an expensive gadget, Tulip is a compact and portable laptop with 12.1-inch WXGA widescreen display, an ATI Radeon Xpress graphics engine, and front-loading CD/DVD player/burner that can also playback music and movies without having to fire the operating system up.

The base model is retailed for $5,000. Sounds boring, huh? But check out the Diamond and Platinum versions which embedded a real jewerly to the laptop case. The most expensive one, Otazu Ego Diamond, offers over 480 flaweless diamonds in tulip, heart, and Otazu logos in various places on the case. With a whopping price of three hundreds and fifty thousand bucks (yes, that’s $350,000), even if you can afford it, I’m not sure whether you want to use it or not.
