Logitec LIC-SR500 Voice Recorder

LIC-SR500 is the new IC-based portable voice recorder from Logitec (not Logitech!) Japan. It is capable of recording up to 136 hours of conversation in LP mode with 2GB microSD card (4GB one is also supported). Measures 33 x 117 x 15mm, LIC-SR500 uses 2 AAA batteries which provides the juice for up to 15 hours. If interested, the 40g device is available in three different flavours: Classic White, Black, and Pink.

Still using CRT monitor? Come on, time to move to LCD era. My friend even uses three LCDs on his PC, eventhough I’m not sure what they’re good for since he didn’t work in graphic design business. Well anyway, Logitec of Japan has just released its latest LCD monitor, “LCM-T195AD”. It has a 19-inch display with a resolution of SXGA, a contrast ratio of 800:1, and a brightness of 300cd/m2. Nothing special, but it’s better to see another shopping alternative, right? However, you still have to wait ’til July if you want to buy it. The price is set at 45,000 Yen and it’ll available only in Japan, which is yet another disappointment.

Logitech LIC-TR056SD Helps Your Record Your Telephone Conversation

Last month, someone tried to trick my mother by calling my home and told her that I just hit his car. This person asked for some money to fix the car. Fortunately, he said that I hit his car using a motorbike, while I always use my car to go out. The scam failed, but if only my home phone used this LIC-TR056SD device from Logitech, my mom can keep a copy of the conversation and then report the case to the police by using the recorded conversation as a proof.

Of course there are many other useful tasks you can do with LIC-TR056SD MP3 voice recorder. All I can say is that this is very handy device and you should get one. I will as soon as it is available in my country.

Regarding specs, it comes with a 128MB of flash memory that can store up to 50 hours of conversation.

World’s First Slot-In External DVD Burner Coming From Logitec

Logitec has just presented a slim external Multi DVD burner that uses slot-in disc mechanism, which is the first one in the world. Measures 142 x 172 x 17.5 mm and weighs 350 grams, the burner can record to DVR-/+R media at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RAM at 5x, DVD-ROM at 8x, and DL DVD-/+R at 4x. It can also burn to traditional CD at 24x. Furthermore, this drive uses USB 2.0 connection and compatible with the upcoming Windows Vista OS.

Logitec LHD-PBM2GU2 Portable HDD is one of the peripheral that can make you look fashionable and geeky as well at the same time. This small portable storage measures only 50.8 x 10.5 x 50 mm and weighs just 35 grams, so it is easy to carry around. You can also wear it as a necklace since it comes with a neck strap. Well, sounds familiar? Maybe the Pendant Memory Key would ring your bell?

Apart from Logitec’s portable HDD has similar concept with the Pendant Memory Key, this device has 2.2GB storage capacity. The cases is made from aluminium (that’s why it’s quite lightweight) and this FAT32 filesystem HD is compatible with Windows as well as Mac.

Logitec Car FM Transmitter for iPod

Logitec, a Japanese company, recently presented their in-car FM transmitter for iPod, LAT-FM100U model. It takes advantage of the cigar lighter socket and it supports both iPod Nano and iPod Mini, as well as other MP3 player that come with a USB connector. As for transmission frequency of the FM transmitter, it is possible to select from 6 frequency of the 77.0MHz, the 77.4mHz, the 77.8mHz, the 88.0MHz, the 88.4mHz and the 88.8mHz. There are five colors you can choose to fit your car’s interior design: silver, black, blue, pink, and green.

These Logitec’s car FM transmitter will be available later in the end of November. However, no information about the price yet.

Logitec Anti-Shock HDD Case

Anti-shock HDD case, the sequel
Logitec recently presents their new version of shock resistant HDD cases. According to the manufacturer (read the Press Release, link below), you can drop this case from a height of 90cm without nothing to afraid of. And unlike other cases, this case comes with a HDD with sizes ranged from 40GB (12,500 yen) to 120GB (29,600 yen), all spinned at 5400 rpm. It connects via USB 2.0 and comes with three color options: silver, blue and black.
