NEC is joining the mini laptop’s euphoria with the new 8.9-inch LaVie Light Netbook. Powered by a 1.60Ghz Intel Atom N270 processor, which is the most popular CPU for compact notebook, LaVie Light boasts a 160GB of hard drive, a 1GB of main memory, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam module, an SD media card slot, three USB ports, and WiFI connectivity. It measures 250 x 176.5 x 36.5mm and weighs 1.17kg.

Can it beat Asus EEE PC or MSI’s Wind in the battle? It’s up to you to decide…

Priced at just $6, the Insect Flower LED Light is a cute and sweet light source for your wall or bed-side. There are currently two models, one with Ladybird, and other with Butterfly. Each has 12cm diameter and powered by 3 x AA batteries.

I recently bought Wii Combat Pack (detail and photo later), but when I searched for additional information about this stuff, I came across Brando and found this interesting Wii accessories, the Wii Light Gun (product code: VWIOT002200)! As you may already I guess, this will turn your Wiimote into a gun, thus giving more realistic experience while playing FPS games, such as Red Steel, Far Cry: Vengeance (better avoid it, this title really suck on Wii), and Medal of Honor: Vanguard (the best FPS game on Wii so far). It is said that certain music can help the growth of your children’s brain. Classic music, such as Bethoven or Mozart, for example. So, to help you raise your baby into a smart men, Playskool and Creative have worked together and presented a toys for babies which is equipped with a digital audio player. Called Infant Gym, the toys can playback MP3 songs to calm the baby. Some baby tunes are already pre-loaded, but you can also store your own MP3 collections inside. Moreover, there’s an integrated microphone which allows you to record your voice and later play it to make the baby happy.

Along with Infant Gym, both companies also presented Day To Dream Soother, a toy that can project the light on the ceiling while playing music from separate DAP. This Soother can be purchased for $35, while the Infant Gym is retailed for $40. However, you’ll have to wait until Fall before they hit the market.

Since Christmas identics to lights and Santa Claus, then I understand why Brando comes up with this USB Light-Sensor Santa. This cool device, once plugged onto your PC’s or laptop’s USB port, will deliver the light as soon as its surround gets dark. And yes, you’ll get several fun flicking colours of light, a priceless entertainment if you ever have to spend the Christmas alone.
