This product, MobiLens MW, is trying to narrow the gap between handset and digicam by offering enhanced wide angle lens (for wider view) and macro lens (zoom to object) to your cell phone. Priced at 1400 Yen, this portable lens camera can be attached to your mobile phone camera by first sticking a magnetic ring around. The camera lens will then attach to the magnetic ring.

With MobiLens MW Portable Camera Lens, now we can easily capture panoramic photo with our cell phone. Pretty handy, isn’t it.

Johnson Electric NanoLens Offers Better Pics

No matter how good (and how expensive) our cell phone was, the picture quality, taken from its camera, still can’t beat the one from the digital camera. Johnson Electric try to eliminated the gap and create a new motion technology for auto-focus in phone cameras. Named NanoLens, the company promise that this technology will provide a better pictures, by increasing speed, accuracy, smoothness, and repeatability of image quality.

Johnson Electric is currently displaying this technology in Hongkong. According to them, this is the highest perfomance auto-focus module on the market today. Whether it’s true or false, we have to wait until next year when the product becomes available.
