Here goes another choice for you who want to buy a netbook, the IdeaPad S9e from China-based company Lenovo. Like most others mini laptop, this compact 8.9-inch notebook is powered by Intel Atom N270 processor and Intel 945GSE chipset. It also features a 1GB of main memory, a 160GB of hard disk, a LED backlight LCD with WSVGA resolution, and a battery that lasts for up to 6.5 hours of usage. The price is set at €320 or about $406 USD.

I have an 8.9-inch Asus EEE PC netbook myself and I think any laptop below 10-inch is not comfortable to use. If you can afford more bucks, I suggest you buy 10-inch netbook instead.

Thinking of getting any of those external USB monitor for laptop? Well, hold on a second. If you’re not in a hurry, I suggest you to wait until this ThinkPad W700ds laptop from Lenovo come to a store near you. Why? Because this wonderful 17-inch notebook comes with a SECONDARY 10.2-inch LED screen on its right side. Cool, isn’t it?

Weighs at just 3.5 pounds, Lenovo ThinkPad X200 is an Intel Centrino 2-powered tablet PC with 12.1-inch convertible touchscreen display and support for pen input. Available immediately, the notebook offers several new innovations over previous models, including 10% lighter weight, 50% longer battery life (up to 10 hours), a touch sensitivity that recognizes a lighter pen or finger touch, dual swivel screen, web camera and dual-array microphones, and a full size keyboard. Moreover, it runs on Windows Vista operating system and retailed for $1,814 (basic configuration).

Other features include a 128GB SSD, built-in GPS receiver, mobile broadband connectivity, and LED backlit display.

Priced at just $370, the compact 8.9-inch Lenovo Ideapad Lite S9 laptop is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, a 512MB of main memory, and a 4GB of SSD (Solid State Disk). It weighs 1.1kg and come pre-installed with either Windows XP or Linux operating system. According to the company, the mini notebook also boasts a multi-touch display. One good alternative if you’re looking for a small netbook.

Lenovo is going to update its portfolio with four new members of Ideapad-series laptops — the 14.1-inch Y430, 15.4-inch Y530, 17.1-inch Y730, and 13.3-inch U330. We’ll focus on the IdeaPad U330 this time because it sports the new notebook PC platform from Intel, Centrino 2 a.k.a Montevina. Come along the new processor, the compact 2.2cm thick machine features a HDMI interface, a built-in optical drive, an integrated webcam, and a touch-sensitive media controls.

These new line of IdeaPad will hit the store in Fall 2008.

Lenovo officially announced the new IdeaCentre K210 Desktop PC. Powered by the powerful Intel Core 2 Quad processor and 3GB of RAM, the computer boasts an integrated Intel GMA X3100 graphics engine (can be upgraded to a 512MB ATI Radeon 2600 XT), an optional Blu-Ray drive, a 5.1-ch HD audio, an anti-bacterial keyboard, and a 16-in-1 media card reader. It comes with a webcam that supports VeriFace facial recognition, protecting the PC from unauthorized users. Sounds impressive!

Lenovo IdeaCentre K210 desktop PC is retailed starting from €240.

Priced at $669, the 15.4-inch widescreen laptop is powered by an Intel Core 3 Duo T5550 processor, a 250GB of hard drive, and a 4GB of main memory. Powerful enough to run those resource-hungry image and video editing software. In addition, Y510 also comes with WLAN support, integrated webcam, and DVD burner.

Available in red and black with metal texture, the new IdeaPad U110 Notebook PC from Lenovo is powered by an intel Centrino processor, up to 3GB of main memory, and a 120GB of hard drive. Weighs less than 2.5 pounds, this 11-inch widescreen laptop is also equipped with an integrated webcam, WiFI connectivity, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, an external DVD burner, and a pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 laptop is the winner of three Best Of The Show awards at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show event in Las Vegas. The retail price is set at $1,899 or about €1,224.
