Measures 107.3 x 48.8 x 19mm and weighs 140 grams, Samsung’s wonderful MBP200 Micro Projector is now officially available in Korea market with a price tag of 400,000 Won or about 225 EUR. Introduced at previous CES event, the pocket projector can display Microsoft Office files, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; as well as Adobe PDF files in 480 x 320 (HVGA) projection panel. It comes with a 2.2-inch LCD screen with 320 x 240 (QVGA) resolution, as well as built-in file viewer, picture viewer (JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, BMP), and media player supporting MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, WAV, DivX, XVid, WMV9, MPEG-2, MPEG-4. Other features include a 190MB of onboard memory, an integrated DMB TV tuner, a 3.5mm audio output, and a microSD media card slot (up to 16GB supported).

Princeton releases two new 23-inch LCD monitors under PTFBGF series. The first one, PTFBFG-23RW has a glossy LCD display, while the second one, PTFBGF-23W comes with a non-glossy screen. Retailed with almost the same price (less than €280), both monitors boast a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a brightness of 300cd/m2, built-in 2 x 1.5W speakers, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1000:1 ~ 10,000:1, HDMI, DVI, and D-Sub inputs. Sounds great, especially when you think of its cheap price.

Disney and Runat have just updated their popular Stitch LCD TV which looks quite awesome. Comes with 20-inch display, the TV features a nice 1680 x 1050 resolution, HDMI input port, D4, and B-CAS card reader. The price? ‘Only’ 100,000 Yen (about $1,014 USD)… Wow! I guess only those lucky rich people who would buy this product for their lucky kids…

Toshiba updated their portfolio with the new series of REGZA Series LCD TV, REGZA C8000. All sports 120Hz panel technology and reduced power consumption. Currently, there are three different models are available — the 42-inch 42C8000 (127kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), the 37-inch 37C8000 (119kW/year power consumption, full HD 1080p resolution), and the 32-inch 32C8000 (95kW/year power consumption, a resolution of 1366 x 768). The first two TVs have a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 13000:1; while the last one has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30000:1. No words on pricing at the moment.

LG unveils three new LCD monitors recently. They are the 22inch W2253V-PF, the 24-inch W2453V-PF, and the 27-inch W2753V-PF. All of these displays have full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and sports a contrast ratio of 1000:1 up to 50000:1, a brightness of 300cd/m2 (22-inch) and 400cd/m2 (24-inch and 27-inch), and DFC (Digital Fine Contrast) function. Also, the three monitors are equipped with DVI-D HDCP, D-SUB, and HDMI port.

Currently no words on pricing for all of those Full HD LCDs.

LG Korea has just announced two new LCD TVs under their XCanvas LH70 Series portfolio. The first one has 47-inch (40.9mm thick) display while the other one has smaller 42-inch (39.7mm thick) screen. Both TVs boast a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a 120Hz panel, a response time of 2ms, and Bluetooth support which allows users to connect their Bluetooth device to the TV for direct straming of movies and photos. Moreover, LH70 also features LG’s Color Decanting and EYEQ Green function, along with a USB port for plugging in an external storage device. Pretty cool.

If the external 7-inch secondary display is too small for you, come rejoice. Samsung has just entered the secondary monitor market and proudly announced the new Syncmaster Lapfit Series LCD Monitor. Currently available in two different models (the 19-inch LapFit LD190G and 20-inch LapFit LD220G), the LapFit monitor offers the ability to extend your laptop or netbook viewing experiences by simply connecting the display to your notebook’s USB port. However, since a monitor takes a lot of power consumption, the LapFit won’t take power from your USB’ and you need to plug it onto another power outlet.

Regarding specs, Samsung’s Syncmaster LapFit LD190G and LapFit LD220G LCD monitors feature a contrast ratio of 20000:1, a display resolution of 1360 x 768, and a USB hub.

It seems that Full HD resolution is becoming a standard on LCD monitor’s products. Like the newest display from Greenhouse, GH-ACH243SHB, that comes with a full 1920×1080 HD resolution, along with a nice contrast ratio of 1000:1 (or up to 30000:1 in DCR mode), a brightness of 300cd/m2, and a host of interfaces, including DVI-D (HDCP), HDMI, and D-Sub.

Greenhouse’s 23.6-inch GH-ACH243SHB LCD monitor is retailed for 32,800 Yen in Japan or about US $371.

Priced at a nice €730 (or about US$943), Eizo’s FlexScan S2432W-H is a 24-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) LCD monitor that boasts a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a brightness of 360cd/m2, and a response rate of 16ms. The display also comes with support for DisplayPort which is very handy if you have a MacBook Pro. Other features include an ambient light sensor and HDCP compatibility.

Eizo FlexScan S2432W-H LCD monitor is scheduled to hit the Japan store in December.
