At first, netbook is created for students or professionals who needs to finish their job outside the office or their house. But Bandai, a famous Japan-based company, together with Kohjinsha, has taken the world of mini laptop a little further by offering a netbook for kids! Called Gatchapin & Mukku Netbook, this little machine is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 1GB of main memory, a 120GB of storage, and a built-in 1Seg Digital TV tuner for watching Gatchapin the dinosaur and Mukku the bigfoot on FujiTV Japan. Kohjinsha unveiled two new mini laptops, the SX-Series and SC-Series. The former is powered by a 1.33Ghz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of main memory, and a 60GB of hard drive. Moreover, it is equipped with an 8.-inch touchscreen display (1280×768), a SuperMulti DVD burner, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, an Express Card slot, WiFI, Ethernet LAN, and 1Seg TV tuner.

Regarding SC-Series, the company packed the 7-inch mini notebook PC with 1.3MP webcam, WIFI, Ethernet LAN, a 3-in-1 card reader, a 1Seg TV tuner, and two USB 2.0 ports. It also features a 1024×600 touchscreen display and GPS functionalities. As for the processor, RAM, and HDD, it comes with the same specs as the SX-Series.

Weighs 990 grams, Kohjinsha SA1F00VKR/WKR tablet PC sports a 7-inch LCD display, a 512MB of main memory, a 100GB of hard drive, and pre-loaded English dictionary program called “Saydic”. On its recent press release, Kohjinsha, a Japanese manufacturer, announced the SA1F00A UMPC. This portable PC, priced at 670 EUR, will be powered by an AMD GEODE CS5536 (500MHz) processor, a 512MB of RAM, and a 40GB of hard drive. It will be equipped with a 7-inch display with a resolution of 800×480, both WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity, and SD / CF card slot. Measures 218 x 163 x 25.4mm and weighs 960g, its case can withstand a 100kg of pressure.

Expect to see the SA1F00A PC on the market starting from some time in December.
