HP recently presented its newest product named “iPAQ 612 Business Navigator” in Asia-Pacific region. This PDA phone combines several different functionalities — mobile communication, internet, business tool, entertainment, and navigation — into one compact device. It boasts high-speed 3G support, an integrated 3 megapixel camera module, build-in media player, GPS navigation capabilities, and organizer. Moreover, its Smart Touch interface and 3-way thumbwheel allows users to check their emails, enlarge/reduce its navigation map, and search multimedia files conveniently. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system so you can expect to run many Windows-based application, such as Microsoft Office Mobile and Outlook.

HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator PDA Phone will be retailed with a suggested price of around $599.

HP recently announced its latest personal satnav device called “iPAQ 312 Travel Companion” during their new consumer product launch event in Singapore. This GPS offers a large 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 3D maps mode, Bluetooth 2.0 with handsfree calling support, and an SD card slot. Powered by a Centrality Titan (600MHz) processor, it runs on Windows CE 5.0 operating system and uses a 1700mAh Lithium-Ion battery.

HP has just unveiled its latest PDA phone, “iPAQ 512 Voice Messenger”. Designed with business professionals in mind, this handset offers a combination between entertainment and productivity. On the former side, users can enjoy the built-in media player, pre-loaded games, as well as photo capture and sharing via 1.3 megapixel camera module. While on the productivity department, they can take advantage of the push-mail technology support, along with Bluetooth connectivity and pre-installed Microsoft Office application suite.

The recently released iPAQ 500 Series Voice Messenger PDA Phone from HP sports the new Windows Mobile 6 OS, both WiFI and Bluetooth connectivities, built-in games, photo viewer, and integrated media player. For communication, it supports GSM and EDGE networks, along with VoIP. Furthermore, the cell phone boasts an interesting “Voice Reply” function which allows you to reply to emails by simply dictating and sending voice commands. Pretty impressive, huh?

HP introduced iPAQ 500 Series Voice Messenger PDA Phone at 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona. According to the company, international pricing and availability will vary. But for sure, it’ll start shipping in US this Spring.

Two new PDAs recently being unveiled by HP Korea, the iPAQ rx5000 Travel Companion and iPAQ rx4000 Mobile Media Companion. The first model, rx5000, features a GPS navigation capabilities with voice guidance, a 3.5-inch touch screen display, WiFI connectivity, e-mail, internet, and optional Bluetooth. It runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and currently available for 490,000 KRW.

As for the iPAQ rx4000 Mobile Media Companion, this slim compact PDA offers a 2.8-inch colors LCD display, integrated WiFI connectivity, and pre-installed Windows Mobile 5.0 OS. You can find this product on the market with price tag set between 299,000(KRW) and 340,000(KRW).

According to See Chin-Teik, Vice President of Consumer Products and Mobile Business Group, HP Personal Systems Group, Asia-Pacific and Japan, “The super-chic HP iPAQ rw6800 Multimedia Messenger Series is designed in Asia with the Asian consumer in mind as part of HP’s Designed in Asia for Asia (DIAFA) initiative to reflect the young Asian consumer’s chic, minimalist style today“.

The HP iPAQ rw6800 Series Multimedia Messenger will be launched on Q2 2006. Price will be revealed later before the release date.
