Pioneer is going to unleash four new in-dash GPS navigation — HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022, and HRV011 models. These satnav devices feature a 40GB of hard drive, a 7-inch display, a built-in 1-seg TV tuner, CD/DVD player, and media player supporting WMA, MP3, AAC, and DivX formats. All o them are also compatible with Apple’s iPod.

A closer look, HRZ099 (picture above) has a resolution of 800×480, while the rest comes with 480×234 resolution. Also, the HRZ099 and HRZ088 GPS are equipped with a built-in amplifier providing a maximum output of 50W x 4ch.

Kenwood offers MNA-350, an in-dash entertainment device with built-in satellite navigation capabilities. Thin 2-din car radio comes with a CD player, a 3.5-inches color LCD display, iPod dock to playback your audio collection inside the iPod, and a SD card slot for storing the GPS maps data. Moreover, its audio player supports popular audio formats, including MP3, AAC, and WMA.

LG has just launched its first in-dash navigation and entertainment system, the LAN-9600R. Using 1 DIN format, the standard for card radio, this device is equipped with a 7-inch motorized LCD display with touch screen user interface and 16:9 format, a handsfree Bluetooth kit,a SD card slot and a USB connectivity to transfer files from your flash disk onto its 2GB internal storage, and finally, a DVD drive that can read DVD (of course), CD, and CD-R/RW discs.

Being a car entertainment unit, LAN-9600R offers support for MP3, WMA, DivX 3/4/5, and DVD movies. A digital FM/AM radio tuner is included as well, so you don’t have to worry about running out of music. The sound can be heard from the integrated 4 x 50W RMS.

As for its satellite navigation functionalities, the device is powered by a 300MHz Centrality Atlas2 processor and SiRF Star III GPS receiver. It comes pre-loaded with the maps of Europe from Navteq and capable of displaying the maps in 3D view, as well as receiving real-time traffic information, thanks to the built RDS/TMC receiver.

LG LAN-9600R In-Dash Entertainment and GPS Navigation device will be retailed for 1500 EUR or about $2000.

Pioneer has just added a new member of its AVIC line-up, the HRZ88 model. This one is a 7-inch in-car in-dash navigation and entertainment system. Easily installed onto your car’s dashboard, the device dubbed as Raku-Navi will provide instant GPS and multimedia capabilities for you. What you get include a built-in TV tuner, DVD/CD player (DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW), FM/AM radio tuner, and digital audio (WMA, MP3) player.

Available in five HDD-based models and four DVD-based models, Pioneer AVIC HZ88 in-dash GPS and entertainment system carries a price tag between 147,000 to 325,500 yen.
