Egoman of China showcased its MP810RSTX PMP during last IFA 2008. The device sports a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a microSD / T-Flash media card slot, G-Sensor function (what is this?), TV-out port, and optional FM radio and FM transmitter module. It supports AVI, RMVB, APE, FLAC, MP3, and WMA media formats. No words on pricing and availability though.

The new 11.8-inch SDP120DT Portable DVD Player looks so sexy. Displayed during IFA 2008 in Berlin, the device comes with a hand-holder on top, making it easy to carry arround. Even better, if you’re out of movie collection, you can turn on its digital TV tuner (DVB) and watch your favourite TV programme.

Reigncom showcased M3 GPS Navigation during IFA 2008 in Berlin. This PND offers a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×240, a video/audio playback, photo viewer, and a 1GB of onboard storage for storing the maps data and multimedia collection. Unfortunately, that’s all we have about M3 — no detail specs, no pricing, no availability date.

Here goes another notebook from Medion, the Akoya E8410 laptop. Also unveiled during IFA 2008, this 18.4-inch machine is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 processor and an nVidia GeForce 9100M graphics engine. Sounds powerful, huh? Even better, the laptop is also equipped with a Blu-Ray drive and a Dolby surround sound system engine. Pretty nice!

Medion proudly displayed another alternative to UMPC world, the 10-inch AKOYA Mini Netbook, during IFA 2008. Powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, the compact laptop features an Intel GMA950 graphics engine, a 1GB of main memory, and an 80GB of hard drive. It is also equipped with built-in WIFI connectivity, LAN, USB ports, media card reader, and earphone jack.

Measures 228 x 135 x 25mm and weighs 830 grams (incl. battery), Viliv S7 is one of the many UMPCs displayed during IFA 2008 in Germany. It’s obvious since compact laptop / mini notebook is this year’s current trend, thanks to Asus’ Eee PC. Regarding S7, powered by an Intel Atom Centrino SLT processor (1.3Ghz/1.6Ghz/1.86Ghz), it sports a 7-inch touchscreen WSVGA display, a 30GB/60GB of hard drive, and a handy integrated SiRF Star III GPS receiver for built-in satnav capabilities. Like many UMPCs outthere, this one also has a a wide-range of mobile connectivity options, including Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiBro, HSDPA, and 802.11b/g WiFI.

Other features include a QWERTY keyboard, a built-in DMB TV tuner, H.264 1080i/720p support, and up to 8 hours of battery life with over 9 hours of continous movie playback. As for the operating system, users can choose between Windows XP Home or Windows Vista.

Viliv S7 UMPC is scheduled to hit the store in the first quarter of 2009.

Reigncom unleashed its cute as hell Mickey Mouse-shaped portable MP3 player called MPlayer Eyes during IFA 2008 in Berlin, Germany. Its eyes come with built-in LED lights, thus capable of glowing while playing music. You ca store up to 2GB of music inside and then listen to them for up to 9 hours non-stop. No words on pricing unfortunately.

Samsung Series 8 is another new full HD LCD TV from Samsung. At just 44.mm thick, the TV offers a USB 2.0 port, four HDMI inputs, Full HD Motion Plus Technology, DLNA, WiseLink Pro, and content library. Like its sibling, Series 8 also blessed with an interesting feature call InfoLive, which allows users to read real-time information (news, weather, sports, etc) right on their TV screen. No words on pricing and availability unfortunately.

Samsung’s booth was one of the biggest at Berlin’s IFA 2008. No wonder they can showcase a lot of new products during that event. One of them is this new Series 7 Full HD LCD / Plasma TV. It boasts a nice live feed function, called InfoLive, which provides real-time information (news, weather, sports, finance, etc) right on the screen. InfoLive itself was borned thanks to the partnership between Samsung and Yahoo (which responsible for the RSS feeds). Other features include a WiseLink Pro, certified DLNA, and a resolution of 1920×1080p.

The PDP (plasma) version is available in three different sizes: 50-inch, 58-inch, and 63-inch; and sports a Real 100Hz Technology, Ultra Bright Filter 2 technology, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. As for the LCD TV version, it comes in three sizes (40-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch) and boasts the new Ultra Clear Panel and Wide Color Enhancer 2 Technology.

Reigncom presented the iRiver Spinn PMP during IFA 2008 event, featuring an innovative “Spinn Wheel” control, which combines warmth of analog controls with digital content. Regarding specs, the device offers a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 480×272, a haptic feedback feature, and support for a wide-range media formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC ASF, MPEG4, WM9 and WMA. Furthermore, its battery provides up to 24 hours of music playback.

Other features include an integrated FM radio tuner, flash game, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, photo and text viewer, voice recording, and T-DMB receiver.
