LG is not a popular brand for cell phone in my country. But I must admit that they have some wonderful handsets, such as LG KU990 (a.k.a Viewty) and this new KC910 model. Packed with a host of photography and multimedia capabilities, the touch-based mobile device offers an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optic lens and Xenon flash, a 3-inch 262K colors display with a resolution of 240×400, TV out port, VGA video recording capability @ 30fps, and XviD and DivX video playback support.

Not just for entertainment enthusiasts, those who travel a lot and needs good mobility would adore the LG KC910 handset, thanks to the addition of integrated GPS navigation, 3G/HSDPA connectivity, quad-band GSM support, USB interface, Bluetooth, and microSD memory card slot. No words on pricing yet, but the phone will be released very soon in October, so at least you can start saving from now on.

Samsung officially announced two new Q1 UMPCs, the Q1U-CMXP and Q1UP-V. Both are ready to roll in the U.S market. The former, Q1U-CMXP is powered by a 1.33Ghz Intel Core Solo U1500 processor and features a 2GB of main memory, a 802.11b/g WiFI connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, and an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam module. It is retailed for €930 (about $1,447).

Regarding Q1UP-V UMPC, it offers the same specs, but with the additional high-speed 3G HSDPA connectivity. All for €960 (about $1,493).

LG Electronics will soon release its HSDPA-ready Chocolate phone, “L704i”, on October 19th. It’ll be available in Japan market via NTT DoCoMo. The slider-mechanism handset itself boasts a 2.2-inch QVGA display, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module with 0.3MP secondary camera for video telephony, and of course, HSDPA connectivity for up to 3.6MBps data access speed. Like other Chocolate phones, this one also has touch-sensitive illuminated control buttons. Runs on GSM/WCDMA network, there’ll be three different color variants of L704i: black, white, and red wine.

Pantech & Curitel recently presented its new HSDPA-ready cell phone in Korea market, “SKY IM-U220″. If you notice, the handset looks like a dolphin. Not sure whether it’s just coincidence or the comapny did it on purpose. Being a HSDPA-ready mobile device, it offers up to 7.2Mbps of data access speed, either for browsing the web, downloading content, or accessing email. Its other features are just pretty standard though, for example, a 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, microSD card slot, and e-Dictionary.

Sky “Dolphin” Phone is retailed for 400,000 (KRW) or about 309 EUR.

Samsung once again shown off its “Sens X22” laptop. This time during the recent KES 2007 event in Korea. The company is expected to release it in Korea market next month, with a suggested price between 1,800,000 (KRW) and 1,900,000 (KRW). Asus is going to release another HDSPA laptop. This one comes with compact 12.1-inch display, Asus U6S model. Based on Intel’s Santa Rosa mobile platform, the notebook PC boasts an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz) processor, a 128MB nVidia GeForce 8400M G graphics engine, a 2GB of main memory, and a 250GB of 5,400rpm hard drive. Moreover, this ultraportable laptop is equipped with a DVD burner, as well as previously mentioned high-speed 3.5G HSDPA connectivity.

Other features include Intel 4965a/b/g/draft-n wireless connectivity, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN support, an integrated 56K modem, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, SPDIF, 4 x USB ports, ExpressCard slot, an 8-in-1 card reader, and an integrated 0.3MP webcam module with face recognition capability. Weighs 3.86 pounds, the laptop comes with pre-loaded Windows Vista Home Premium edition OS, TPM (Trusted Platform Module), and biometric fingerprint reader for enhanced security. Finally, its six-cell battery offers up to five hours of usage.

Asus U65 laptop is scheduled to ship in Europe next month with a price tag of 1,999 EUR (or about $2,834). No Words on States availability.

Another new cell phone from LG. This one is called KS20 and it is capable of downloading mobile content at a blazing speed, thanks to the built-in support for HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Package Access). If you want to see it in action, be sure to attend forthcoming IFA 2007 event in early September, as the company promises to showcase this baby at their booth there. Some of LG KS20 cell phone features include an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated audio/video playback capability, pre-installed Windows Mobile 6 operating system, and a 2.8-inch touchscreen display.

LG KS20 HSDPA cell phone is scheduled to launch in Europe by the end of the year. No words on pricing at the moment.

LG Electronics recently unleashed its newest mobile device, “LG-SH150″, which boasts built-in HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) connectivity, thus allowing users to enjoy high speed internet access at up to 7.2Mbps data transmission rate as well as multi-channel S-DMB service. The phone itself comes in a slim body and sliding design. The touch keypad provides better user interaction, while the enhanced search function gives the ability to find any content in the phone easily. Other features include a text viewer, multi-tasking capability, eletronic dictionary, WCDMA auto-roaming, mobile banking via USIM card, subway map, and portable disk.

LG SH150 cell phone will be soon available with a suggested price of 500,000 (KRW).

Along with LG-KH1400, LG also unveiled LG-SH130 cell phone in Korea. Not much detail about this sliding handset except that it’d come with built-in HSDPA connectivity, allowing high-speed mobile internet access. You can download media content, browse the web, open Daily Gadgets News, or check your email at a blazing speed (up to 3.6MBps). I’ll post further info once they become available.

LG has just unveiled KH1400 cell phone featuring built-in HSDPA support. HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) allows users to download content from the internet with up to 3.6 MBps speed rate. The cool thing, the phone also comes with integrated DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver which lets satellite broadcasted TV to be received and displayed on its 2-inch screen on the go. This display is swivelable thus giving you a chance to watch your favourite TV programme in a better position. If not enough, there’s a TV out port provided.
