Clevery announced their new product to the Japan market, the Mini HomeServer SP9C WHS. Retailed for 65,800 Yen (around 490 EUR), this desktop PC is powered by a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor, a 1GB of PC5300 main memory, a DVD drive, a 2TB of hard drive (2 x 1TB), and pre-installed Windows Home Server. Sounds like a wonderful machine for our home data server…

Mitsubishi will soon unveil “LVP-HC6000″, its latest full HD home theater projector, in Japan market. It sports a quiet noise of 19dB, an 0.74-inch LCDs, a 160W of UHE lamp for dynamic contrast up to 12,000:1. Furthermore, the projector incorporated 10bit Reon VX processor from Silicon Optix. According to the schedule, the company will release the product by the end of September, however, no words on pricing at the moment.

Pioneer offers two new home theater products, the Smart Theater 565 (model: HTZ-565DV) and Smart Theater 363 (model: HTZ-363DV). Both sport a HDMI output, USB interface, DVD playback, and support for MP3, WMA, and MPEG-4 audio formats. The difference between the two stereo speaker systems it that the Smart Theater 565 comes with no wire at all. Nice.

Audiam is an expandable audio system concept, designed by Annekatrin Lindstedt. The main idea behind Audiam is to adapt the continously developed home electronics technology. Honesly, I’m not really sure what the hell it is (can’t figure out from the screenshot either), but according to the designer “Audiam is an expandable and integrateable solo-component for audio-systems with which one can play and manage music-, video-, picture- and text data files of connected data carriers like USB-sticks or SD-cards.”.

Onkyo presents TX-SA505, a 7.1-channel amplifier supporting Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, DST, DTS-ES, AAC, Dolby NR Professional Logic IIx, and DTS 96/24 sound processors. It incorporate “Theater-Dimensional” technology which create 5.1-channel sound from only 2 speakers. Other features include 7×100W (6Ω), 24bit/192kHz (DAC), and Audyssey 2EQ that provides advanced precision on each speaker. Everything sounds great… but nothing’s perfect. FYI, TX-SA505 Amp doesn’t come with HDMI port… too bad…

TWQ120 is the latest home theatre system from Samsung. Recently announced to the Korea market, it sports a 5.1-channel surround sound and an integrated DVD player. Sounds good. Too bad that’s the only detail about TWQ120 right now…

The new home theater from LG, HT752TP, boasts a Virtual Sound Matrix technology that is claimed to be able to simulate 10.1-channel sound system on a 5.1-channel. Wow! I don’t know what the hell 10.1ch is nor ever heard about it before, but it sure sounds very impressive. Apart from that, this audio / video system comes with a pyramid-shaped DVD/amplifier, a set of stereo speakers, a USB Host port, and a HDMI port. To make it more futuristic, the company uses Touch Sensor system to replace the buttons.

Lenovo, together with Dolby Laboratories, presented Tianyi F50, Lenovo’s first laptop to feature Dolby Home Theater technology that definitely offfer enhanced home theater audio features and premium surround sound experiences. In addition, users can also enjoy a huge library of music and more than 17,400 films worldwide that use Dolby technologies. However, there’s no information about the specs, price, and U.S availability yet.

Optoma recently unveiled the HD81 Full HD Home Theater Projector to the Korea market. It adopted TI’s BrilliantColor color technology and DarkChip3 DMD chipset which promise impressive color and image quality. Features include a native resolution of 1080p, a brightness of 1400 lumens with a 300W lamp, 10-bit color per channel color pocessing, a 7-segment color wheel, and a contrast ratio of 6000:1 (full on/off). Even if you don’t have a HD video source, youo can still enjoy the result in 1080p resolution, thanks to the integrated motion adaptive HD de-interlacer which will convert the content to 1080p.

The company also claimed that HD81 Home Theater Projector will have an easy-to-install cabling solution in order to deliver a loss- and interference-free signal from the video/color enhancement box to the HD81 1080p projector. This fully digital source-to-display link is connected through a high-speed digital cable signal; and then transmits data to more than 100 feet while the two-piece design of the HD81 eliminates the need for multiple cables. Note that you need a single HDMI video cable and a single control cable, which aren’t provided on the retail package.

Yamaha has just updated its home theater speakers and presented the new YSP-1100. This speaker incorporated virtual 5.1-ch sound system and supports Dolby (Digital, Pro Logic, Pro Logic II), DTS / DTS Neo: 6, and AAC sound decoding formats. It also incorporated IntelliBeam technology (or Digital Sound Projector) which improves the sound output (20Wx2 + 20Wx40) depending on the room you install the speakers in.

According to the press relase, Yamaha’s YSP-1100 speaker is set to hit the store in November 1st. However, no words about the retail price yet.
