If you check your iPhone, you’ll find out that there’s an iPod app lies on the Home screen. Here goes the guide for using the iPod application:

Finding songs in the iPod app can be done in various ways, via Playlists, Artists, or Songs. Tap More to browse Albums, Audiobooks, Compilations, Composers, Genres, and Podcasts. Once you’ve found a song, simply tap its name to play it.

You’ll notice a Play/Pause button which is straightforward. Tap and hold the forward and back buttons to skim inside a song, while single tapping takes you to the next or previous song. The slider controls the volume, as do the volume button.

Tap the album cover to reveal some extra features when you’re playing a track. Tap rotate icon to repeat the selected track or song list, use the scrubber bar to skip to a particular point in a song, or you can shuffle through your songs with the button on the right. You can build a playlist of similar music by tapping the atom-like Genius button in the middle so long as you have enabled Genius in iTunes 8.

Cover Flow view in the iPod application is one of the coolest things about the iPhone. While a song is playing, simply turn your iPod on its side and you can browse through your albums via their artwork. To see the tracks on an album, just tap its cover.

Ready for a new technology? Skype’s engineers have begun working with an interesting WiFi phone prototype. What is it anyway?

So it’s a piece of hardware that you can use to make Skype calls on a WiFi network without needing to use a computer

Quite interesting isn’t it? And it works just like a normal cellular phone, as further described below.

It looks and feels much like a recent mobile phone and the basic controls for using the interface are also similar. So if you’ve used a mobile phone before, you’ll have no difficulties to get going.

After turning it on, you must sign in or create a new Skype Name before you can do much else. Obviously, if you log on with an existing Skype Name, you immediately have your full contact list available and can start calling right away.

The contact list is very similar to what you have on a computer. You see if people are online or not, can view their profile or add new contacts.

Hopefully, the price will be cheaper enough for me to buy it :p

Yesterday, Netscape has released the final version of its Netscape v8.0 web browser. It quickly become a controversial since N8 use Firefox engine AND Internet Explorer engine *you know how suck IE is* The funny thing is, N8 wants to give more security options to users *but I don’t think they will get more secure with IE-engine*. Click here to download NS8 (direct download link).

Still about N8, in less than 12 hours, 3 bugs have been found. One of them is security-related, where someone can take control of users’ PC simply by getting a user to visit a malicious Web site. The new version, v8.0.1 is already released to fix this bug. Unfortunately for IE haters *like me*, this bug is Gecko problem, not IE. Firefox is also having the same security hole and will be fixed in their upcoming version, v1.1.

Google launches Google portal named MyGoogle.
