Haier displayed its new mini laptop, 81004 netbook, at Intel booth during Computex 2008 event in Taipei. Why at Intel? Because this baby is powered by the new Intel Atom processor. “S20″ is Haier’s new 12.1-inch laptop. Recently launched in Korea market, the notebook PC is built on top Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, offering powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor (in this case, a 2.0GHz T7300 CPU) and all the good stuff you can expect from Santa Rosa. It weighs 1.8kg and comes in a black high-glossy finish. The price is set at less than 900,000 (KRW).

Haier showcased its new 14.1-inch laptop during KES 2007 event, the “S60″. Build on Intel’s Santa Rosa notebook PC platform, S60 offers an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an Intel GM965 + ICH8M chipset, up to 4GB of DDR2 main memory, and an integrated Intel GMA X3000 graphics engine. Measures 327 x 275 x 26 ~ 43.4mm and weighs 2.1kg (incl. 4-cell battery), the machine is also equipped with a WXGA Glare-type display, a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, a biometric fingerprint reader, Bluetooth connectivity, and a DVD SuperMulti burner. No words on availability and pricing.

Haier showcased a cool laptop with Transformer logo on its front cover during KES 2007 event. The 17-inch (WXGA) notebook is called “Haier G70″ or dubbed as “Trasnformer”. Build on Intel Santa Rosa platform, the machine sports an Intel 965PM + ICH8M chipset, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics card with 256MB of DDR3 memory, a 2.5-inch SATA HDD, and up to 4GB of main memory. Weighs 3.95kg and measures 397 x 282 x 22 ~ 44mm, it is also equipped with an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, a biometric fingerprint reader, optional Bluetooth connectivity, and an 8-cell battery.

Haier recently unveiled T31G, its 13.3-inc widescreen laptop, in Korea market. The notebook is powered by an Intel Core Duo T2250 (1.73GHz) processor, a 512MB of DDR2-533 RAM, and an 80GB of SATA hard drive. The display is supported by a 128MB nVidia GeForce Go 7400 graphics engine and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and a 16:10 aspect ratio.There’s also a 1.3 megapixel webcam module attached for those chat lovers. If interested, you can purchase it for 899,000 (KRW).

Another one from Haier, presented during Canton Fair 2007 event in Shanghai, China. This one is a 47-inch widescreen Full HD LCD TV named L47A18. It incorporates DSM engine and sports a bunch of wonderful functionalities, such as 3D Comb filter, Black Stretch, Noise Reduction, Color Enhancement, and Color Temperature. Regarding specs, the display offers a resolution of 1920×1080 (1080P), a response time of 6ms, USB interface, media card reader, and dual HDMI ports.

Haier showcased HPD-UMPDP7 Portable DVD Player during China Export and Import Fair 2007 event. This player features a 7-inch colors LCD display, along with a SD/MMC/MS memory card slot, USB interface, and support for MP3/MP4/MPEG-4 formats. It is compatible with DVD/DVD+-R/RW/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/VCD media.

Measures 296 x 210 x 33 mm and weighs 1.8kg (including battery), Haier’s latest sub-notebook PC, W18, is powered by an Intel Core Duo T2250 (1.73GHz) processor, a 512MB of DDR2-533 main memory, a 120GB of SATA hard drive, and a DVD combo drive. This laptop comes with a 12.1-inch LCD display and sports an aluminium hairline design. The company recently launched W18 inKorea market with a suggested price tag of between 900,000 (KRW) and 1,000,000 KRW).

As for Haier W18 laptop, it sports a 12.1-inch LCD display supported by the same 128MB GeForce Go 7400 graphics engine, an Intel Core 2 Duo T2250 CPU, a 512MB of RAM, a 120GB of SATA HDD, and a DVD/CD-RW combo drive. No words on pricing and availability of both machines.

Priced at 399,000 (KRW), Haier W5 laptop features an Intel Celeron M 370 processor, a 256MB of main memory, a 60GB of hard drive, and a 15-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1280×800 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. This notebook is part of its promotion event through a Korean online shopping mall (GSetstore.co.kr).
