Yahoo War Under Attack?

I guess most of you already know about Google Fight. Google Fight takes two query, search them on Google, and show which one has the most result on Google. Yahoo! War does the same, except, it searches the result on Yahoo.

When I come across Yahoo! War today, there was several ‘garbage’ HTML on the top of the page (see screenshot). At the bottom of it, this message follows:

This site was attacked by HTML injection to display porn. Site admin: please fix this hole. This HTML injection will hide the porn temporarily at least. -http://hansmast.com

According to the message, Yahoo War is currently being attack by HTML injection technique.

Does it really under attack by hacker?

The site is completely gone now. Only that message appears. Other part of the site, including the garbage on the screenshot, is gone.

How Monash University Malaysia Got Hacked

2 days ago, LiewCF posted that Monash University Malaysia website got hacked. A group of hacker from Turkey, named CezaTeam, defaced the site. . This article explains how and why those hackers manage to get into Monash University IIS/6.0 server and defaced the front page. Surprisingly, it’s all because their webmaster laziness (and ’stupidity’?) who left almost all the directories on the site writable.

Just read the article for more detail information. He even shows us how the hacker did it, with only using Frontpage. There is also a detail information about the defacement on Zone-H.

Catcha.Co.Id Defaced

Catcha Indonesia, “the number 1 local search engine in Indonesia“, got a new face today. The hacker who defaced it, as written in the image, is using nick name Soulles Angels. The skull-bat picture is still there as I wrote this entry.
