Grundig B700 Linux SmartPhone

It seems U900 is not the only Linux phone from Grundig. This manufacturer also has another Linux-based SmartPhone called B700. This one comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera module with flash and 4x digital zoom, video recording capability, a large 2.45-inch (240×32) 262k colors LCD display, FM radio, POP3 Email Push client, and a handy QWERTY keyboard. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and USB, while on storage side, you’ll get 100MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. Moreover, runs on tri-band GSM network with EDGE support, B700 has a Li-Ion battery that delivers juice for up to 150 minutes of talktime and 250 hours of standby time.

Measures 105 x 68 x 10 mm and weighs 89 grams, there’s no words about the price or availability of Grundig B700 cell phone at the moment.

One of the handset showcased by Samsung during 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona, Spain, is the SGH-E590. This cell phone is designed by Jasper Morisson, a famous English designer. Features include an integrated 3 megapixel camera module with autofocus and intuitive camera user interface, a microSD card slot for additional storage, built-in FM radio tuner, and media player. No words on pricing and availability though.

[3GSM] Samsung Ultra Edition 5.9 (U100) Cell Phone

As reported earlier, Samsung extends its popular Ultra Edition series cell phones with the release of Ultra Edition II series during 3GSM World Congress 2007. The first four models on Ultra Edition II portfolio are the Ultra Edition 10.9 (U600), Ultra Edition 12.1 (U700), Ultra Edition 9.6 (U300), and the Ultra Edition 5.9 (U100). Each of them sports an advanced features, including 3 megapixel camera module, high-speed web connectivity, and enhanced multimedia capabilities.

And finally, here goes Ultra Edition 5.9 (U100), the slimmest phone in the series and probably in the world since its thickness is just 5.9mm. Features include a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 1.93-inch colors TFT LCD display, Smart Search, Smart Messaging, Yahoo! integration, and built-in media player with up to 11 hours of continous music playback.

As for Ultra Edition 9.6 (U300), this modern full metal clamshell cell phone features a TV-out capability, Bluetooth connectivity, a 70MB of onboard memory, an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera module (no autofocus?), and a 2.2-inch widescreen TFT LCD display. Like the U600 model, this 9.6mm device also comes with Smart Search and Smart Messaging functions, as well as Yahoo! integration.

It also comes with Smart Search and Smart Messaging functions, along with Yahoo! integration.

[3GSM] Gigabyte GSmart q60 Smartphone

Here’s the latest handset from Gigabyte, the GSmart q60 model. And thanks to the company, they’ve just made the world of smartphone more colorful. Check out one of its unique features — dotted texture keypad which looks like a LEGO blocks. It does make the keypad feel a little weird to touch though, but at least q60 comes with a QWERTY-style pad, which is wayyyy much convenient the standard phone keypad design. Runs on the latest Windows Mobile 6 operating system, this cell phone sports a 2.5-inch display, an integrated 2.0 megapixel camera module with autofocus, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivities, and 520Mhz Intel PXA270 processor.

[3GSM] LG KU250 3G Cell Phone

Along with KU950 and KS10 cell phones, LG also displayed KU250, a sleek and stylish candybar handset which was choosen for GSM Association’s “3G For All” campaign by a consortium of the 12 largest mobile operators. Apart from 3G connectivity, the phone features a 1.76-inch LCD display with 176×220 resolution, video telephony capability, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module with secondary VGA camera, microSD card slot, speakerphone, and built-in music player that supports various audio formats, including MP3, AAC, AAC+, and WMA. It runs on tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) and UMTS (2100MHz) under WCDMA network.

Mitac Mio A501 Pocket PC Phone

I’ve previously mentioned about Asus Aries PDA Phone on this post. Here goes the detail. Powered by Windows Mobile 6 Standard operating system, this tri-band GSM phone features a 240×320 display, a 416MHz Intel XScale processor, 64MB RAM, 256MB ROM with microSD card slot for additional storage, QWERTY keyboard, and both WiFI and Bluetooth connectivities. It also supports UMTS, so you can expect the high-speed internet access on-the-go.
