I just found out that we can save books from Google Books library as PDF using a free program called Google Book Downloader (download link below). This small utility allows you to keep any book with full view status on your own hard disk. All you have to do is run the app, paste the book code of the book that you want to download, and then press the “Check” button. The program will then check all available pages. Once you press the “Download Entire Book” button, those pages will be downloaded. Finally, if you press the “Save Entire Book As…” button, those downloaded pages will be saved to your hard disk. Pretty useful, isn’t it?

Note that Google Book Download requires Microsoft .net Framework 3.5 SP1 (get it here) to be installed.

T-Mobile finally officially announced G1 smartphone, the first cell phone powered by Google Android operating system. Expected to hit the store with a price tag of $179, this black-colored handset (white and brown flavour are also available) comes with anything you want to beat your neighbour’s iPhone 3G. To mention a few: a touch-sensitive display, QWERTY keyboard, WiFI connectivity, and sexy design. It also packs a bunch of Google apps and services, such as Google Maps with StreetView, GMail, and YouTube; as well as ‘Android Market’, a dedicated place where G1 users can find and download applications to expand and personalize their phone.

G1 cell phone is developed by HTC of Taiwan and scheduled to make its debut on October 22. UK will receive the same handset in November, while most European will get them in the first quarter of 2009.

Helio has just announced Heat, its latest GPS-enabled cell phone. Developed by Samsung, this handset fully supports Google Maps application and features a 1.99-inch QVGA (240×320) 262k colors LCD display, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module with built-in flash, 4x digital zoom, and video recording capability in MPEG-4 format, and built-in media player that can play MP3, MPEG-4, VOD, and MMS media format. Measures 91.4 x 45.7 x 15.2mm and weighs 90 grams, Heat phone comes with a generaous 136MB of internal memory, enough for storing hundreds of photos. Oh, regarding photo, it has a built-in photo studio in which users can easily edit or modify their photos without having to upload them to their PC.

Available in Onyx Black and Gold colors, Helio Heat GPS Phone provides high-speed internet access, thanks to built-in support for EV-DO network. Other featurs include Bluetooth connectivity with A2DP technology, Helio Music support, Photo Caller ID, and USB Mass Storage mode. This cell phone is currently available in store with a price tag of just $150.

Google has just released Mobile Google Maps for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. By installing the software, you’ll have instant GPS on your hand. It’ll display your current location at the center of the screen and you can easily plot your travel to your preferred destination from there. Viewing snapshots of specific location from GPS satellites is also possible.

Since the software is made for WM5 OS, you can install and run Mobile Google Maps on any WM5-based devices, including BlackBerry, Palm, and most JSME handhelds.

Following my previous post about Samsung SGH-Z720 cell phone, it seems that the handset will be pre-loaded with a bunch of Google apps, making it the world’s first GooglePhone — definition for phone with Google functionalities. This member of Samsung’s Ultra Edition 13.8 series will supposedly come with Google Mobile Search, GMail for Mobile, Google’s RSS reader, Google Maps, and more.

Btw, you can also download all of those Google’s mobile apps yourself and transform your own phone into a GooglePhone.

Google Earth Tracker or GE-Tracker from EverMore is a GPS data logger (DL-600) that, combines with its photo software, can display your position when you’re taking the snapshot using digicam on Google Earth. Pretty fun, isn’t it? The system works 24/7 and can handle up to 170,000 way points. To use the data logger all you have to do is turn it on (and keep it on), and make sure the date and time of camera is synchronized with GMT/UTC time since the photo software also rely on the GMT/ UTC time to sync your pictures with location on Google Earth.

Priced around $200, this MP3 player is specially designed so it can be used under the water without affecting the sound quality. I don’t have to say that the player is water-proof, do I?

Just between you and me, especially if you’re new to “making money with AdSense” scheme, do not make a site just for the high paying keyword. I think that’s the biggest mistake most newbie have ever made. Create a site with the topic that you interest of, or the topic that you’ve mastered. Build a site (or several sites) with high quality original content first. It would be a good foundation for your other sites. I’ll write more about this later.
