In my List of Free Large File Sharing Service post, there are so many visitors coming from search engine looking for RapidShare premium account. So, here you go. Well, actually, this is a (free) program (download link below) that can generate a Rapidshare’s premium account for you, including the password. I found it from ch0de’s Blog, and according to him, this program works and also virus-free.

I once said that I really love to follow the trend and the new implementation of solar-powered technology. Well, on my second list, USB device is there. In the beginning of its existance, USB port is mostly used for data transfer and storage (USB disk). But nowadays, many unique, innovative, sometime weird USB, products have emerged. Just take a look at the USB Heating Gloves, USB Mini Humidifier, or USB Sewing Machine; you’ll know what I mean.

The following product from Thanko, the USB P@D Aroma Generator, might fit into the innovative category. Using a cartridge system, it can generate a different smell from your PC. Just plug the device into your USB port, choose the smell from the inserted cartridge, and there, your smelly computer is ready. It will spread the scent for 30 seconds and stop for 2 and half minutes. This pattern will continue for about 4 hours.

Measures 110 x 115 x 47 mm and weighs 165 g, USB P@D Aroma Generator uses the old USB 1.1 interface. It currently works with Windows (ME/2000/XP) only. Comes in white color, AudioCubes is currently selling this item for $69.

Some additional aroma cartridges are also available for $15 each: Cinnamona, Herb, Fruit, Woody

Taxi’s Rooftop Wind Energy Charges Cell Phones

Ecolo21 Co., Ltd, a taxi company in Japan, is offering a cell phone’s battery charging service to the passengers. It uses the electricity generated by a wind turbine mounted on a taxi’s roof. This service is to promote the use of clean energy following the enactment of the Kyoto Protocol.

The taxi’s rooftop wind turbine has a built-in generator so that wind energy is converted to electricity. The electricity is stored in the car’s battery and then sent to a cigarette lighter socket. By connecting a charger to the socket, passengers can charge their cell phones. The company installed this system in one of its taxis, and it is planning to install an improved version in its remaining 19 taxis by the autumn of 2005.

Another button maker service, this one has clearer and better interface. I used to use this service from Adam Kalsey, but might consider using that new service from BlogFlux.
