Doraemon DS Giveaway From Sega

Sega is going to release a new title for DS based on the latest Doraemon movie, “Doraemon No Bita to Midori No Kyojinden”. To promote the game (and the movie), the company will give away 70 Nintendo DS’s machine to lucky Doraemon and Nobita’s fans in Japan. Each DS will be pimped with a nice Doraemon theme. IMHO, from the screenshot above, it looks better than any previous “special edition” DS.

Samsung currently offers free gifts for their customers. If interested, you can buy any laptop on Samsung’s SENSE range, including the R40, R55, and Q35 models. You’ll get a free upgrade to Vista Ultimate Edition operating system, a 1GB USB disk, a sleeve to protect the notebook, an a silver-coated optical mouse. If you don’t like the trio, you can also purchase either a Q1 or Q40 machine, and receive a USB key along with other goodies. From the picture, one of them looks like a golden little pig statue.

Gets Free Vista Upgrade For Every Sony VAIO Purchase

Just received this news in my inbox. Sony is now offering a free upgrade to Windows Vista operating system for every purchase of any eligible VAIO series laptops during 10/26/06 to 03/15/07. Pre-loaded Windows XP Media Center Edition and Professional edition will be upgraded to the equivalent versions of Windows Vista, either Home Premium or Business edition. Consumers can also upgrade from Windows XP Home Edition to either Vista Home Basic or Home Premium edition for a 50% discount off the normal price.

Some of the eligible VAIO laptops models include VAIO VGN-AR100, VGN-FS8000, VGN-SZ300, VGN-TX700, and VGC-LS1 notebooks. Check here for the whole list.

Anyway, today I spent my time digging Apple’s website and found these three worthy World Cup-related stuff for you. The first is the Match Schedule Widget for the Mac OS X Dashboard. With this super handy widget, you won’t miss a single match on the World Cup. The second (and also the third) are a very cool Icon Set with the spirit of World Cup.
