Casio introduced its new 12.1-megapixel Exilim EZ-Z400 digital camera. It comes with a nice packed of features that would make both beginner and intermediate photographers happy — a 4x optical zoom lens, a 28mm wide-angle lens, a 3-inch display, image stabilizer function, and a battery that lasts for up to 550 shots. The camera is available in three different flavours (brown, gold, and pink) and can be purchased for $299.99.

One of EX-Z400’s main feature is the usage of the company’s proprietary EXILIM Engine 4.0 that sports a high-speed image processing capabilities and Dynamic Photo function which lets photographers to cut out the main subject of interest in an image that has just been captured and then combine it with another image to form the background. Users can also cut and paste several rapid-succession images to create a moving subject on a still background. Along with Exilim EX-Z400, the company also has three more new digital cameras — the EX-Z270, EX-S12, and EX-S5. The latter boasts a compact body based on a new design concept which makes high-quality photographic functionality simpler to use than ever before. These three digicams will be retailed for $229.99 (black, gray, gold, pink), $249.99 (silver, pink, green, black), and $179.99 (blue, black, gold, silver, pink, purple). Enough color options for everyone.

Unlike other Doraemon’s gadgets, this one does not come from his pocket and can do anything “futuristic”, but at least, if you’re one of Doraemon’s fans outthere, this Doraemon-pimped Casio Exilim EX-Z20 digital camera is worth buying. In addition to the cute Doraemon design, the camera boasts an 8.1 megapixel CCD sensor, a 38 ~ 114mm lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12.4MB of onboard storage, a 2.6-Inch display, a MMC/SD/SDHC media card slot, and a face detection function. Moreover, it is also able to record video in H.264/AVC (848×480 resolution). Too bad it doesn’t have those see-through-anything or see-what-happen-in-the-future shots…

Casio Exilim EX-Z20 digicam will hit the store in December.

Measures 96.7 x 57.3 x 20.1mm and weighs 126 grams, Casio’s Exilim EX-Z150 digital camera sports an 8.1 megapixel CCD sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch LCD monitor, a CCD-shift anti-shake function, and ISO 1600 support. Five different flavours are available: silver, black, red, green, and pink. Boasted as the world’s slimmest stylish digicam, EX-Z150 is now ready to conquer the Europe market, according to the company’s recent press release.

Here’s the latest 12.1-megapixel digital camera from Casio, the EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z1200 model. It sports a 2.8-inch colors display, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 11.4MB internal memory with SDHC and MMC media card support for additional storage. Furthermore, the camera supports H.264 video format, as well as UHQ video mode with 848×480 resolution @ 7MBps (DVD-like quality).

Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z1200 digital camera will soon hit the store with a price tag of 50,000 Yen or about $400.

Casio offers a handy accesories for EXILIM series digital camera’s owners. Named EWC-10, it’s a waterproof snorkel housing that is compatible with Casio Exilim EX-Z65 and EX-Z75 digicams. By using this protector, you can take your camera down to 3 meters (10 feet) depth underwater, thus allowing you take a nice pic of underwater environment. And don’t worry about the controller buttons as those usually available on the back side of the camera are translated into some rubber keys on the housing.

If that’s not enough, EWC-10 protective housing also doubles as a sand protector, keeping your precious digital camera safe on the beach as well. Interested now? Well, too bad, still no words on pricing or availability at the moment.

Casio recently unveiled a new digital camera under its popular Exilim series, the Exilim Hi-ZOOM EX-V7. What makes this 7.1 megapixel camera stands from the crowd is that it is equipped with a H.264 codec, making it possible to record video in QuickTime’s MOV format (WIDE HQ or 848×480 UHQ). Moreover, the digicam also has several interesting features, such as image stabilizer and SDHC media support.

Measures 99.5 x 25.5 x 59.8 mm and weighs 149 grams, Casio Exilim Hi-ZOOM EX-V7 digital camera is equipped with a 11.6MB of onboard memory. It’ll be available in two flavours (black and white), but no words on pricing and availability yet.

For example, users can activate the BEST SHOT mode and choose between a large number of BEST SHOT motif programs. Beginners also able to set their digital camera specifically to outside motif conditions. Furthermore, the Easy Mode is provided to prevent inadvertent adjustment of the technical settings and makes it easier than ever to take pictures. If those are not enough, add the DIRECT ON function that would round off the user-friendly operability of the EX-Z5.

Other features include Anti Shake DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to prevent the camera from shaking, Auto Macro function, Quick Shutter function and multi auto focus also safeguard correct focusing. There’s also an innovative Revive Shot function that complements the pallet of functions of the EX-Z5 and the Rapid Flash function that takes three pictures with flash in succession in only one second.

Measures 95.2×60.6×19.8 mm, there’s no words about the price and availibility of Exilim EX-Z5 digital camera from Casio yet.
