Measures 106 x 70 x 11mm and weighs 129 grams, Evergreen’s new DN-MP490 Portable Media Player sports a 4-inch display with 480 x 272 resolution, a 2GB of onboard storage with SDHC media card slot for external memory, and of course, built-in media player supporting various popular video (AVI / FLV / RM / RMVB), audio (MP3 / WMA / WAVE / FLAC / APE / AAC / OOG), image (JPG / BMP / GIF), and even text (TXT / LRC) files. No words on pricing though.

Evergreen DN-HS-207U USB HDD Cases

Damn! I’ve just bought a new portable USB hard drive last week (a 160GB One Touch II from Maxtor) and compared to this one from Evergreen, mine looks really ugly. As you can see from the picture above, Evergreen’s DN-HS-207U HDD cases comes in various colourful cases, from blue, purple, red, to silver. This is quite refreshing since most HDD cases on the market have either black, white, or grey flavour. Regarding storage, it supports up to 1TB of storage. The cool thing is, you can even connect 2 HDD cases and DN-HS-207U will automatically treat them as one volume.

Evergreen EG-CL7 LCD TV

The “EG-CL7″ LCD from Evergreen allows you to watch your favourite TV programme while you’re driving, thanks to its built-in TV tuner with support for both PAL and NTSC system. Of course, a 7-inch display with a resolution of 480×234 and a viewing angle of 170 degree might not give much satisfaction, but heck, you don’t want to die in an accident just because you give too much concentration on the latest CSI episode, right?

Measures 120 x 90 x 48mm and weighs 370 grams, Evergreen EG-CL7 LCD is currently retailed for 110 EUR in Japan.

Evergreen EG-D2500CX DivX DVD Player

Evergreen presents EG-D2500CX, a compact DVD player that can take care of your DivX, JPEG, WMA, MP3, and DVDs collection. It is PAL/NTSC Zone Free and support CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media) as well. Moreover, the player measures at just 224 x 230 x 50mm and can be purchased for just $55 which is quite affordable.

IMHO, if you don’t have a good stereo system (5.1ch at the very least), I don’t think there’s much different between various DVD player’s models. Me and my sister have used several different models in the last two years, from less to widely popular brand, and all of them have almost the same quality. So I think EG-D2500CX is not an exception.

EverGreen Presents SD Card With Japanese Poker Card Images

Love Poker? Check out the new ‘Basic Series’ SD memory card from Evergreen. Each unit comes with a different Japanese poker card images on it. Not sure how many variant images are manufactured though, but collecting these cards sounds like fun. As for the specs, it can write data at 2MB/s and read at 9MB/s rate. The price is 1,980 Yen for the 1GB version and 3,499 for the 2GB model.

EverGreen EG-D5000H DVD Player With HDMI

EverGreen recently presented EG-D5000H, a DVD player with a HDMI ouput and DVD up-scaling to 720p/1080p. It supports CD, DVD, DVD±R, and DVD±RW (DL) media discs, along with DivX (MPEG1/2/4), MP3, and WMA format. Furthermore, it is equipped with a SD card and Memory Stick card slot. Measures 430 x 260 x 38 mm and weighs 2.3kg, EG-D5000H DVD player is currently retailed for 65.00 EUR.

Go to the computer store and ask for the arty memory card from Evergreen. Those memory cards (SD, MiniSD, and CF) have a historical pictures drawn on it. As you can see from the images (on the left and below), there are a lot of choice for you. Even the Monalisa is there, on the MiniSD card.

Bamboo Keyboard and Mouse from Evergreen

On February, we’ve posted about a Bamboo Keyboard and Mouse from Links Japan. And now, here comes the competitor, the DN-BBKB01 104 USB Keyboard and the DN-BBMS01 wired optical mouse. Of course both of them are made from bamboo too. The Evergreen Japan is the company who create this rich and elegant input devices. The keyboard, weighs 810 grams, sells for 7,980 Yen (or around $68), while the mouse, weighs 90 grams, for 3,980 Yen ($34). Interested? Evergreen KS003 MP3 Player Sunglasses

Couple days ago, Evergreen has just launched a unique DVD player with a rotating screen. And today, they launched the KS003 Sunglasses. No, the glasses can’t be rotated, but it does come with an MP3 player capability instead. One of my must have gadget for sure, eventhough I’m not doing a lot of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, running, or snowboarding. But I’m sure the sunglasses would look cool on me.

The MP3 player module has 256MB of internal flash memory. Not much, but at least enough for about 4-5 hours of music. The battery itself provides 8 hours of playback time on full charge. Moreover, it also comes with a voice recording function, but only 32MB of memory is allocated for that. You can connect it to your PC (Windows only) via USB port for file transfer.

Have I mentioned that it supports WMA audio files too? Maybe not, but now you know it. Oh, and you can control the music from the controller on the right arm of this KS003 sunglasses that weighs 50 grams and have Polarized UV400 lenses.

The Evergreen KS003 MP3 Player Sunglasses is available in Japan for 12,800 Yen or about $110.

Evergreen Portable DVD Player With Rotating Screen

We usually posted unique devices, not that a common one. The new portable DVD player from Evergreen Japan for example. The EG-D600 model comes with an interesting rotary mechanism at the hinge section, thus make it possible for the 7-inch wide TFT LCD screen (480×234) to rotate 180 degrees. It’s common to see a rotating screen on a cell phone, but for a DVD player, I guess this is the first one.

EG-D600 supports DVD, DVD±R, CD and CDRW. This portable player can also play MP3 audio files and open JPEG files. The 3500 mAh Lithium Ion battery provides continuous playback for 3 hours. Measures 152 x 194 x 30mm and weighs 970 grams, the Evergreen EG-D600 Portable DVD Player is available for 19,800 Yen ($ 165).
