Measures 107 x 47 x 12.5mm and weighs 92 grams, Sony Ericsson C510 cell phone is yet another new Cyber-Shot series displayed during CTIA Wireless 2009 event. This handset features a high-speed EDGE/HSDPA data access, quad-band GSM network, Bluetooth A2DP, a 2.2-inch display with accelerometer, 240 x 320 resolution and 262K colors; FM radio with RDS, motion gaming, web browser, and 100MB of internal memory with Memory Stick Micro (M2) media card slot for additional storage. It also comes with a standard Li-Ion battery that provides up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time in 3G mode.

Regarding camera, like other Cyber-Shot phones, C510 also boasts a wonderful photographic capabilities. Its 3.2 megapixel camera module offers AutoFocus, LED flash, Smile Shutter, and Face Detection functions. The handset includes an illuminated camera shortcuts as well, so you can easily find where to press whenever you need to take a shot. If interested, Sony Ericsson C510 cell phone is available now with two elegant color variants — future black and radiation silver.

Along with C903 cell phone, Sony Ericsson also showcased Cyber-shot C905 model on its CTIA Wireless 2009’s booth. Featuring almost identical specs like those found on its C903 sibling (aGPS, Bluetooth, EDGE/HSDPA, media player, etc), C905 offers higher-quality 8.1 megapixel camera module with 16x digital zoom, Best Pic, Photo Fix, Xenon Flash, Smart Contract, Image Stabilizer, Video Stabilizer, DLNA support, and video blogging capability. It also comes with WiFI, something that the company forget to include on their C903. Measures 104 x 49 x 18mm and weighs 136 grams, the handset also sports a 240 x 320 resolution display, up to 160MB of internal memory, a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot (up to 8GB supported), and up to 9 hours of talktime (380 hours standby time).

Runs on quad-band GSM network, Sony Ericsson C905 cell phone will be available in four color variants — night black, ice silver, copper gold, and tender rose.

Sony Ericsson displayed one of its next generation of Cybershot series phone, the C903, during CTIA Wireless 2009 event in Las Vegas. This compact slider handset boasts an integrated 5 megapixel camera module with AutoFocus, Face Detection, and Smile Shutter; as well as a built-in aGPS receiver to navigate your way home and high-speed HSDPA data access. Available in three colors (techno white, glamour red, lacquer black), C903 also features a bright 2.4-inch display (240 x 320 resolution, accelerometer), TV-out port, Bluetooth, web browser, and 105MB of internal memory with M2 slot (up to 8GB supported). It measures 97 x 49 x 16mm and weighs 96 grams.

By the way, Sony Ericsson has already released C903 cell phone in my country, Indonesia, since a couple months ago. It does look like a nice handset, but I previously had a bad experience with both of my Cybershot, K810 and K850, so for now I’ve decided to stay away from Sony Ericsson’s…

Couple days ago, Sony Ericsson officially released the new Walkman series handset, W205. Measures 92 x 47 x 16.4mm and weighs 96 grams, this GSM cell phone features an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module with 2.2x digital zoom and video recording capability, pre-installed Opera Mini web browser, FM radio with RDS and direct recording capability, multimedia player, Bluetooth, MMS, and voice recorder. Like other Walkman handsets, W205 also comes with a host of wonderful music features, including Walkman player supporting MP3 and AAC formats, playlist, Shuffle and Loop mode, album art, and TrackID that instantly identify the tunes and artist at a press of a button

According to Timo Maassmann, Sony Ericsson’s marketing business manager, “The W205 is perfect for those who love portable music but have never had the Walkman™ phone experience. The W205 is a stylish slider phone allowing you to enjoy your music wherever you are – whether it’s on the bus, at college or chilling in the park. You can also share more than music with the 1.3 megapixel camera. Capture the action in stills or video and send them to friends via MMS or via Bluetooth™. The multiple phonebook function is an added bonus – share your phone with your family but keep your contacts separate from theirs.”

Other features include a 1.8-inch display with 128 x 160 resolution and 65K colors, 5MB of internal memory with Memory Stick Micro (M2) media card slot (up to 2GB supported), and up to 9 hours of talk time (or 425 hours of standby time). Sony Ericsson W205 cell phone will be available very soon this year, followed by its variant, W205a, in the third quarter of 2009.

Sony Ericsson officially announced S312 cell phone which is also known as Sony Ericsson Athena. Measures 100 x 46 x 12.5mm, the dual-band handset features a 2-inch TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220, media player, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module with dedicated video camera button, and a 15MB of internal memory with Memory Stick Micro (M2) media card slot for additional storage for your photos or videos. Athena will hit the store in the second quarter of this year, but unfortunately, no words on pricing yet.

Sony Ericsson showcased T707 cell phone on is booth during CTIA Wireless 2009 event in Las Vegas earlier this month. This stylish clamshell handset features a quad-band GSM network, EDGE, HSDPA, and an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera module. There’s a unique pulsing notification and lighting effect (looks pretty cool from the photos), as well as the ability to control the phone (mute calls and alarms) by simply shaking it. Three colors will be available on the market — layered lilac, lucid blue, and mysterious black — and there’ll be several accessories that matched the handset’s flavours. No words on pricing at the moment.

Sounds good, but I don’t think I’m going to buy it, not after both my K810 and K850 crashed at the same time. Sony Ericsson C903 is a 3G/HSDPA cell phone with a nice 5 megapixel Cyber-Shot camera module and several cool photography functionalities, such as AF, Smile Shutter, and IS. It comes with Access Netfront web browser, Bluetooth connectivity, USB Mass Storage mode, and a 105MB of onboard memory. Moreover, the handset also offers a dedicated camera keys, a protective camera lens cover, a 2.4-inch auto-rotating display, TV out port, a built-in A-GPS navigation module supporting geo-tagging, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA network.

Sony Ericsson C903 cell phone will be available in selected markets starting from Q2 in three different flavours — Lacquer Black, Techno White, and Glamour Red. Interested?

Sony Ericsson showcased its new 12 megapixel camera phone during Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona. Called Iduo, this high-end handset boasts a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 16:9 aspect ratio, a built-in GPS navigation function, 3G, media player, photo editor, and support for WiFI connectivity. Yeah, not much detail for now unfortunately, but according to the company, Iduo will be ready to hit the store in the third quarter of 2009 in selected countries. Hopefully my country, Indonesia, is on their list…

Sony Ericsson presented its new 8 megapixel Cyber-Shot camera phone in Japan, S001. Like the company’s first 8MP handset, this cell phone also has a host of great photography features, such as AF (AutoFocus), face recognition, Smile Shutter, and ISO up to 1600. As you can see from the picture, it also has a handy lens cover that protect the lens from dust. Once you take your shot, you can display the result on its 3.3-inch WVGA OLED display or transfer it to your PC (or your friends’) via Bluetooth. No WiFI though, so you still have to use your computer to show off your latest photos on Facebook.

Other features include a built-in 1Seg TV tuner for watching your favourite TV programme on the go and support for e-wallet. Measures 51 x 115 x 17.8mm and weighs 145 grams, Sony Ericsson S001 cell phone is available in three different flavours (black, green/gold, pink).
