Priced at 1250 EUR (around $1,857), JVC’s 32-inch LT-32LC305 LCD TV features a resolution of 1366×768 (WXGA), a brightness of 300cd/m2, 3 x HDMI inputs, MaxxAudio sound engine, and a 120Hz “Twice Velocity Genessa” panel. It comes with SD / SDHC media card slot as well, allowing you to plug the card and directly view the media inside. Hmmm, I’m currently looking for a 32-inch LCD TV to replace my 26-inch one, but I don’t think I’d take this LT-32LC305…

Solar-powered calculator? That’s soo 90’s. It’s time for the new era, a WATER-powered calculator. Yes, you heard it, a water-powered CL-168 calculator from ABBA. This compact, lightweight handy calculating device doesn’t need battery, fuel, or sun light. Only water. I bet it’s waterproof as well, making it possible to calculate your tax while relaxing in the bath tub. Moreover, along with its ergonomic design, the calculator also adopts a 8-digit display.

Love to sing, either alone or with your friends? Well, Hana Electronics, on its CES 2008’s booth, presented its brand new mini karaoke called “JMC420″. It adopts the company’s proprietary new sound source chipset, providing a wide-range of karaoke functionalities, including background display, echo sound effect, and lyrics display. This one-chip solution, which include CPU and software, could even be adopted into various multimedia devices, such as cell phone, GPS, set-top box, and TV.

FYI, Hana JMC420 mini karaoke can also playback DVD at 720×480 resolution.

Aigo, a leading MP3 player company in China, presented a cool-looking speaker named “Omnisphere MP3-F529″ during CES 2008 event in Las Vegas. It’s one of the company’s top selling product in UK, but unfortunately not yet available in US. Dubbed as MP3 player, features include support for MP3 and WMA playback, simple joystick navigation control, high-quality sound using BTL technology, dynamic base, variable colored light, and SD/MMC media card slot.

LimePC presents its 42-inch HDTV during CES 2008 event in Las Vegas. The bad thing, no full HD support, only 720p max. But on the other side, this LCD comes with a bunch of connectivity options, including 802.11b/g WiFI, Bluetooth 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet, adn two USB 2.0 ports. To broadcast your favourite TV programme, an ATSC/Analog dual-mode tuner is included. Moreover, powered by Freescale MPC5121e mobileGT processor, LimePC HDTV is also equipped with HDMI, VGA, Y/Pb/Pr, S-Video, and RCA inputs, as well as 5.1-channel audio output.

The next era of headphone technology has arrived, thanks to Sony’s latest invention, the Digital Noise Canceling Headphones. The “MDR-NC500D” is the world’s first headphone that utilizes digital technology to eliminate unwanted sound and leave pure music on your ears. If you have kids running and screaming around your house, this could be your saviour for a little bit of relaxing hours.

No words on pricing at the moment, but I guess Sony will soon announce the price as this MDR-NC500D headphone is scheduled to hit the store in February next month.
