The new 10-megapixel EasyShare Z1012IS from Kodak offers a 12x optical zoom lens, up to ISO3200, and an optical image stabilization function. It comes with an intelligent face detection, allowing the digicam to work as a point-and-shoot camera. But the full manual PASM mode also allows serious photographer to play with their imagination, thus making Z1012IS fits both professional and amateur players. In addition, the camera can record your own HD-quality movie @ 30 fps.

Kodak EasyShare Z1012IS digital camera is retailed for 549,000 won ($531) in Korea market.

Kodak Korea updated its EasyShare line-up digital camera with the new EasyShare V1273 model. Priced at 400,000 (KRW), the camera boasts a 3-inch touchscreen display and the ability to capture 16:9 HD-quality picture, as well as record MPEG4 HD-quality video.

During CES 2007, Kodak presented a nice accessories for its EasyShare series digital cameras, the EasyShare G600 Printer Dock. With this device, digicam owners can easily print their photo collections by simply place the camera on the dock and then push the button. Furthermore, according to the company, users will be able to quickly transfer the photos to their computer, as well as automatically recharge the camera when it is placed on the dock.

Kodak, famous photography product manufacturer, doesn’t miss the chance to promote new digicams at the busy Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2007 event. One of them is the EasyShare C653. This 6.1 megapixel digital camera boasts a 3x optical zoom, a 2.4-inch LCD display, and an anti-blur function that delivers clear and sharp still images. Auto Focus and Flash are available as well. It also provides 20 different scenes and three colors modes for you to sharpen your creativity and photography skill. Furthermore, there’s a USB 2.0 connectivity to connect the camera to your laptop or PC, thus allowing you to easily transfer the photos.

Priced between $175 and $201, Kodak EasyShare C653 Digital Camera comes with a USB cable, wrist strap, Alkaline AAA batteries, and a one year warranty.

Several new EasyShare Digital Cameras are being displayed by Kodak during CES 2007. Two of them, with almost similar specs, are the V1003 and V803. As you might already guess, the first model has 10 megapixel CCD sensor, while the latter with 8 megapixel resolution. Both cameras, measure 103 x 54.5 x 25mm and weighs 141.5 grams, feature a large 2.5-inch colors LCD display, video recording capability at 640×480 (VGA) resolution at 30fps (with sound), and 22 scene modes, including a simple o-camera stiching to dynamic panorama shots. They have Digital Image Stabilization function which prevent blurring images caused by hand movement or shaking.

Moreover, all the new Kodak EasyShare cameras now have an additional new menu called “Maintain Settings”. It stores your preferred settings for flash, white balance, ISO and resolution between uses, saving you time and assuring you have the camera set up your own personal way. Also, note that the V803 digital camera, available in different colorful designs, also armed with a 3x Kodak Retinar Aspheric All Glass Optical Zoom lenses.

Kodak EasyShare V1003 digital camera will hit the store in March with a price tag of $249.95. As for the V803, it will be available starting from February for $199.95.

It’s an ultracompact. It’s a superzoom. It’s even wireless. Is this some kind of Orwellian digital camera triplespeak? No, it’s Kodak being (mostly) truthful in introducing its new 6-megapixel dual-lens camera, the EasyShare V610 ($449.95 list). I love the idea of the V610, but the pictures I took didn’t blow me away, and the price is no bargain. In the end, the V610 is a good camera that has some unique features, but it falls short of being a great buy.

Kodak EasyShare P880 digital camera sports an 8.3 megapixel CCD sensor, 5.8x optical zoom with 24-140mm wide-angle Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon zoom lens, manual zoom and focus rings, and hot shoe flash connector. Image is saved in either TIFF, JPEG, or RAW file format, and result can be displayed on the camera’s large 2.5-inch colors LCD screen. To enhance the image, Kodak include histogram technology that is able to clip highlight and shadow from the images. Furthermore, like many other digital cameras, video recording is also supported in VGA quality at 30fps.

The EasyShare V610 is the new digital camera from Kodak. This 6 megapixel camera sports an interesting Bluetooth connectivity, 10x optical zoom, and two Schneider-Kreuznach C-Variogon all-glass lenses. Not much detail about this digicam yet, so hold your breath for now.
