Good news for those ghost hunter outthere. Solid Alliance has just made the new version of their highly-popular portable ghost detector, the Baketan Ghost Detector Phone Strap. The successor comes with better algorithm for finding ghosts, along with a new feature called “Kodotama Tuner” (a.k.a “The Ghost Voice”) which allows us to hear the voice from another world. The device also has much better design compared to the original. Now it looks like an elegant Japanese Stone instead of a small star-shaped like lousy gadget.

Like its predecessor, the new Baketan is equipped with a button and a light indicator. Whenever you feel like there’s a ghost around you, simply press the button. The indicator will then notify you if it find any (blue for none, red for an evil one).

Solid Alliance’s Portable Ghost Detector ver. 2.0 will soon be available via Strapya (link below), but you can pre-order it now for 1,999 Yen (about $19.85). Two colors can be choosen, black or white.

Being a full-time blogger, I can work and update my blogs anytime anywhere. If I get bored working at home, I usually go to cafe with wireless access and work there using my laptop. However, sometimes I got disappointed because after I sit down, ordered the menu, opened my notebook, and turn it on, I found out that their WiFi connection is down. Who cares whether this device would work or not? In a matter of fact, who even cares whether a ghost really exist or not? But the point is, this portable ghost detector is really cool! Designed as a keychain, you can strap this little gadget on your cell phone, PDA, laptop, or anywhere you think a ghost would possibly exist.

The Portable Ghost Detector Keychain is made by Solid Alliance, the creative company which have developed many cool unique stuff, in co-operation with Strapya, the cell phone charms maker. Solid Alliance themself have once made the bigger version of the ghost detector, dubbed as the Ghost Radar. Maybe because its popularity, the company decided to make the mini version of the radar. Who knows?

The ghost detector will work automatically. Whenever there are changes in surrounding magnetic waves, the device will assume that there’s a ghost activity, and it will alert you by turning on the lights on the keychain. KTF-T300 Motion Eye Cell Phone

Lately, several manufacturers have worked on a cell phone with gesture or motion detector. One good example is Samsung with their SPH-S4000 cell phone or Sharp and Vodafone with their 804SH cell phone. The embedded motion detector technology lets users to do several tasks only by moving the phone around. Pretty neat, huh?

Now another breakthrough technology has been integrated into the cell phone. Coming from KTF, it’s a phone with Motion Eye (eye motion detector) camera, the KTF3000. Not much detail about this yet, but it should be able to detect eye motion and do several things with it. Don’t know what the real-life (useful) applications can be made with this detector though.

The cell phone itself features an MP3 player, poly ringtones (128 voices), multitasking, and 1.3 megapixel camera module. It operates under CDMA 2000 1xEVDO network, measures 91.2 x 46.4 x 22.8 mm and weighs 105.1g.

Cell Phone To Provide Cancer Diagnosis

A cancer diagnosis tool on the cell phone has been developed by Dr Nitzan Yaniv. By installing the software on the phone and adding a basic infrared camera, your cell phone can now provide an accurate – well, more accurate than doing self-checks at least – cancer diagnosis. The results of the scan also could be immediately transferred to a medical laboratory for analysis, which could determine whether further checks were necessary.

The software works by processing the scanned image from the infrared camera, analysing temperature differences in different part of the breast, or oxygen flow to areas of the breast. If you want to know more about breast cancer, check out several articles at our health blog, HDMC.

Cellcom, an Israeli phone operator, is now working to integrate the infrared sensor technology into the cameras.
