iTech Bluetooth Clip Headsets World Cup Edition

One more company try to steal soccer fans attention during the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2006 event. iTech, the company I’m talking about, recently presented a World Cup edition of their Bluetooth Clip headset. The clip comes with a specific country – obviously the contestant of the big soccer event – flag drawn on it. Those lucky countries are England, Germany, Holland, Brazil, and Italy. The Bluetooth clip itself can be paired with most Bluetooth mobile devices on your phone with call buzzer alert, single button control, adjustable volume and mute function. Furthermore, weighs 20 grams, the clip offers 10 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time.

Sagem MyC2-3 Cell Phone – World Cup Limited Edition

It’s not quite surprising that many companies are using the upcoming FIFA World Cup event to attrack more soccer fans to buy their product. They made a soccer-related, or to be exact, a world cup-related, products, hoping that those people would buy the product, only because they come with their favourite team’s color, FIFA logo, etc. A blatant example is the Dynabook TX laptop from Toshiba that comes with embedded FIFA World Cup trophy images on its cases.

Another company that try to steal soccer fans’ attention is Sagem. This mobile phone maker recently presented the World Cup Limited Edition of myC2-3 cell phone. This mobile handsets, only available in England, comes with a St Georges Cross drawn on its body. Looks pretty cool.

However, it only looks pretty cool. On the inside, there’s nothing special on the phone. You’d only get the basic features, such as color LCD screen, WAP, polyphonic ringtones, dual-band network, and couple of games. This cell phone will only attract hard-core England soccer team I think.

Sagem’s myC2-3 cell phone is now available thorugh T-Mobile with PAYG tariff at Woolworths for £59.99. Remind you that this phone is a limited edition world cup edition, so it won’t available after that big soccer exhibition end.

Sounds crazy? Well, maybe. But Toshiba, the official IT sponsor of the FIFA Soccer World Cup exhibition, is really going to give away 66% cashback of your total purchase if you buy their laptops between April 27th and June 8th 2006. However, you’ll only receive more than half of your money IF England wins the World Cup. I’m not sure whether this offer to all Toshiba’s notebooks or just some of them, but it looks like that it’ll only valid for any dual-core machine, such as the Dynabook TX or the Qosmio F30 model. So yeah, like it or not, if you want to buy Toshiba’s laptops for a very cheap price, you have to ignore your favourite team and pray for England’s this time.

Instant Cup Noodle Timer

Alright, I know that Japanese people are so smart that they can make everything that they can think of. But come on, this product is just plain silly. It’s an Instant Cup Noodles Timer, a timer device for preparing an instant cup noodle in accurate time.

All you have to do is puoring a boiling water into the cup, like usual, then place the cup on the timer device. It will automatically show a red light on. Next, turn the handle into either 3 or 4 minutes and wait. When the time has passed, you’ll hear a chime announcing that your noodles are ready.

I don’t need this kitchen device. But incase you do, the price for Instant Cup Noodle Timer is 1,260 yen. Oh, and according to Rakuten Store, this is the top-selling product in July. Wow, can you believe it?

The Agitor – Let’s Agitate The Coffee

The Agitor is another concept of automatic coffee stirring. It can be implemented to any kind of cup, mug, etc. There’ll be a button located on the buttom of a cup that can be pressed, thus causing the contents to become “agitated”. Technically, it involves a small pocket of space, surrounded by a soft plastic membrane, at the bottom of the cup. The membrane has small holes, allowing the liquid to fill the space. By pressing on the space from the below the cup, it forces the liquid back out of the holes, thus “agitating” the contents.

The Agitor is designed by Creighton Schlebach. You can also use it for other stuff too, like soup, chocolate milk, tea, etc. Check out the More link below for several video clips about the products.
