Cowon has made a new addition to their S9 Series PMP, the limited edition Cowon S9 Chrome Black. Comes with a 16GB of onboard storage, the portable media player features a 3.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 480 x 272, Bluetooth connectivity, voice recorder, Flash player, built-in FM radio tuner, text viewer, and supports for various media formats (AVI, WMV, WMA, FLAC, OGG, APE, WAV, JPG). The device also has a nice-looking user interface. Not bad.

Cowon has just upgraded its popular D2 PMP device and presented D2+. Weighs 91 grams and measures 78 x 55.4 x 16.6mm, the all-new compact portable media player boasts a 2.5-inch QVGA display, a SDHC media card slot (up to 32GB SDHC card supported), audio/video playback, and up to 16GB of onboard memory. Compared to the original version, the D2+ offers better battery life, along with improved LCD, new calculator function, better user interface, and several other new features, such as notepad and direct radio recording.

Two versions are currently available, one with built-in DMB tuner and other without the ability to watch digital TV on-the-go. Each has four different flavours — pink, white, blue, and black silver.

Cowon’s latest portable media player has just hit the Korea market, Cowon O2, on October 13th. Measures 119 x 73 x 18mm and weighs 200 grams, this flash memory-based entertainment device comes with a 4.3-inch 16M colors touchscreen display, built-in T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Media Broadcast) receiver, DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast), voice recorder, image viewer, and electronic dictionary functions. It supports H.264 video codec, as well as HD video playback @ 1280 x 720 resolution. Regarding battery, it provides up to 8 hours of video playback and up to 18 hours of music.

Available in three flavours (white, black, and pink), Cowon O2 is retailed in three different versions (standard, DMB, DIC) with price tag set between 200,000 Won (around $146) and 300,000 Won (around $219).

Cowon recently introduces two new portable media players, the 02 (picture above) and S9 (picture below) series. Boasts as an all-in-one multimedia device, the O2 allows you to play various media formats, including DivX, XviD, MPEG4, WM9, H.264 (video), WMA, MP3, AC3, AAC, FLAC, and OGG (audio). It comes with a nice 4.3-inch touchscreen display, along with an integrated T-DMB receiver and an electronic dictionary. Up to 32GB of music can be stored inside O2, and if you need more, you only have to plug your SD card.

As for Cowon S9 PMP, it features a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 16M colors, a 500Mhz dual-core processor, a built-in T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Media Broadcast) tuner, Bluetooth, and an electronic dictionary. This one has a beautiful curved design.

Another day, another new PMP arrives. This one is coming from Cowon. Called “P5“, the device boasts a 5-inch (800×480) LCD screen, a DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver, an integrated FM radio tuner, a voice recording capability, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, electronic dictionary, and UCI (User Created Interface). Powered by a 700Mhz RMI Alchemy Au1250 processor, P5 offers up to 9 hours of video playback and up to 14 hours of music.

Cowon P5 PMP is scheduled to hit the Korea market on July 29th. No words on pricing at the moment, but it’ll be available in three different flavours: black, platinum, and red.

Cowon Korea has just unveiled its new GPS navigation system, “Cowon N3″. This 7-inch portable navigation device offers a bright touch screen display, support for TPEG service that provides real-time traffic information, multimedia player, and built-in DMB (Digital Media Broadcast) receiver for mobile TV programme on the go. All of its controller button are on the right front side (there are six of them), including map navigation, zoom in/out, and power button.

Powered by 600Mhz AU1250 processor, Cowon N3 GPS is retailed for 519,000 Won or about $550.

Cowon Japan presented “D2TV”, a portable media player with built-in 1Seg receiver, in Japan market. It features a 2.5-inch touchscreen display with 320×240 resolution, along with the ability to watch mobile TV programme (thanks to the receiver) and of course, playback audio and video files. You’d get up to 7.5 hours of TV, 9 hours of video, and 45 hours of music playback on one full battery charge.

Cowon D2TV PMP is available in two versions. One with white color and 2GB onboard storage (D2-2G), and other with black color and 8GB memory. Price is set at 201,000 (KRW) and 288,000 (KRW) respectively.

Cowon has finally released its new A3 PMP (Portable Media Player) to Korea market. Powered by DaVinci chipset that promises high-perfomance video playback, this device is the successor of A2 and it boasts a large 4-inch display with 800×480 resolution (WVGA) and 16M colors, onboard FM radio tuner, external DMB/1-Seg/DVB-T receiver, document viewer (Word, Excel, PDF), image viewer, etc. It supports a host of popular media formats, including MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, AAC, AC3, DivX, Xvid, Mpeg4, WMV9/8/7, and H.264. There’s a HDTV out port as well, allowing you to connect the device onto your HD-ready TV or monitor, along with CSD Viewer.

Cowon A3 PMP is available in two capacity variants: 30GB and 60GB. Price is set at 349,000 Won (around 265 EUR) and 419,000 Won (around 318 EUR) respectively.

If you think it’s time to upgrade your old digital audio player, take a look at the latest creation from Cowon, the iAudio 7. It comes with an 8GB of flash memory, enough to store thousand of MP3 files. This capacity is doubled from the predecessor which is so unlucky to have ‘only’ 4GB of storage (HDD). The usage of flash memory also brings another advantages, including lighter weighs (53 grams), lower power consumption, and longer playback time (up to 60 hours).

Cowon’s iAudio 7 digital audio player is currently available in Japan with price tag set between €120 to €180.

Cowon recently launched “iAudio 7″, the successor of its “iAudio 6″ digital audio player (DAP). Compared to its older brother, the new portable player now comes with flash memory instead of onboard HDD. The battery can lasts for up to 60 hours and at the whole time you can use the device to playback various popular audio formats, including MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, FLAC, and WAV. The DAP is now available in Korea market with a price tag set at €140 for the 4GB version, and €185 for 8GB.
